As i composed this piece, I went through some interesting events with strongly mixed feelings optimism, confusion, and betrayal, to name a few. However, every time I came back to this piece, especially when I played it, it gave me a sense of hope. it's as if I am comforting myself through the "hymnal-sounding" melody. I hope this music will soothe you the way it did for me. -MW

Admirable job. Make sure that you always take time to phrase in Bach even though it is never written in. We know where the natural phrases are, but most pianists don't take that extra split second to delineate the phrases. This, it starts to all collect like a backwash of sound which the ear has not the chance to totally absorb.

Mysterious Marnie, why can't i hear this nice theme in the movie ? Even google can't find out what this music is....
OK, i listened carefully this time, and the them occurs in fact 3 times in the movie, beside many other musical elements, the first time is at 53 mn when Anna is in the kitchen with her Auntie (very gentle), then at the Castle (1h 22mn) when Marnie is opening the windows (orchestral), and at (1h 28mn) when Anna is talking with her mother... At least. But it's not like... Casablanca, or... Bunny Lake is Missing.. tron, etc. . Here you have a couple of song's and it's not Marnie's, she has another "leitmotiv". BTW you could try to write a piano cover for Bunny Lake ... :-)

Regardless, I appreciate that you took note of when the song occurred in the movie :) Also, I would def consider about Bunny Lake!
