Poor Himeno! Being treated like she is invisible! Not to be a spoiler but I've seen the whole thing and there was another pretear who felt the same way! Takako! And she wanted to fall in love!😢

I remember my mom had a pen pal in Japan and she sent my mom a bunch of manga, including pretear, fruits basket, Rosario + vampire, School Rumble and some others- I remember I would read pretear over and over again

I was just scrolling through different genres and when I stumbled upon “Reverse Harem”, this was the first on the list. I was so shocked to see it pop up after so many years that I had to re watch it. I first watched this when I first started watching anime and YT was my source, back when I didn’t even have a phone.

I had a hard time looking for this (like googling) because i can't remember the title and then i can't remember the character names. The one I grew up with is the local-dubbed for me (south east asian). the only thing that i can remember was the concept of in it and i don't know why my memory of himeno (which i forgot her name) was with mawata's hair color so i kept searching 'short blue hair female lead/main character' but kept on founding everything but pretear 😂 i also searched for 'huge tree inside a house anime' because that's what i can somewhat remember, even thinking maybe it has cinderella elements but i can't remember so idk 😂 and then one day i search for the concept and found a long list that i searhed for each title one by one to check which one and atlast found the correct title 'pretear' 😂 Ep 11 is one of the episodes that i remember the most 😂 I also grew up watching the english dub from time to time (i can't remember where) and I always come back to the local-dubbed one cause it felt more grounded/less cringey than the english one even though the english dubbed is also good 😂

I remember being 6-8 years old and begging my mom to take me to my local library. I’d make a beeline for the anime rental aisle and dive forward to swipe this series 😭🥹 This, and Princess Tutu 🥰

Miss this in Tagalog dub

No other villains debut as fast as the Princess of Disaster. She did so even before the main protagonist introducing herself!
