Named as one of Canada’s Top 30 under 30 musicians of 2022 by CBC (Canadian Broadcast Corporation), Canadian-American pianist Victoria Wong was born in Hong Kong, and made her orchestral debut at age 5. She has toured as soloist in Italy with the Canadian Sinfonietta, China with the Hong Kong Symphonia, and performed multiple times with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra. Solo performances span Hong Kong City Hall, Palace of Grazia in Italy, Shenzhen Concert Hall in China, Warsaw Philharmonic, Jordan Hall in U.S, and Koerner Hall in Canada. She was invited as guest artist for the 5th Shenzhen Piano Music Festival in China, Westben Arts Festival and Mississauga Polish Festival in Canada, and featured on Radio Television Hong Kong, Polish National Radio, Fairchild TV and OMNI 2 in Canada, SINO TV in the USA, and a televised show for Guangdong Radio and Television Station in China. She holds a Bachelors from New England Conservatory of Music, and a Masters from The Juilliard School.

Lots of drive, that's the nice part. But... there're a lot more to this etude than just that. Where are the singing voices & their conversation, contention, & concurrence? The build-up? The support from the left hand? The excitement? And the eventual inevitability? Piano & piano playing are tool & skill, but beyond these are higher results, what's called art. Work on this & u can create music that absorbs the soul.
Here's a great example of that next level stuff: Lucy the austistic girl playing Chopin nocturne at a train station. Close ur eyes & let ur soul go into the music. ruclips.net/video/WWFJ39nn6Rw/видео.html Lucy's at a level hardly anyone who recorded Chopin nocturne had reached. After that, try Ashkenazy's Chopin etudes. Try to play it back in ur head. Try to sing silently in ur mind. U will hear those things I asked for. Wish u great progress.
