The Coronation of Napoleon Bonaparte as Emperor of the French, from "Désirée" (1954).
On December 2, 1804, Napoleon Bonaparte crowned himself Emperor of the French in the Cathedral of Notre-Dame. The phoenix of a man who rose from the ashes of the French monarchy as their republican leader decided even that hereditary rule better suited his ambitions. I pray that France returns to the glories of this era, and the material and spiritual structure of the church returns to the Eldest Daughter of said Church.
I plan on uploading some of these types of moments from film on the channel, kind of what some other RUclipsrs have done.

American WW1 Patriotic Song: "We'll Never Let Our Old Flag Fall" [RARE Version]
Просмотров 14 тыс.3 года назад
I'm trying something new this time, since I can do that. The more famous melody is of course the British variant of it, but the American version is just as great, if not better. This version is sung by Edward Hamilton and his quartet, the only version that seems to exist still. This today is a very rare and interesting tune from the Great War. This was a time when my country became feared as we...
French Empire / l'Empire Français Anthem: Le Chant du départ (in Russian and French)
Просмотров 1,6 тыс.4 года назад
A rare version of chant du départ I found months ago. This is sung by the Red Army Choir/Alexandrov Ensable. Ironic indeed. Napoleon is a controversial figure amongst Monarchist circles. He is by far the greatest general of regarding battles won, however, his ideals often times were not so glorious. I leave that for you to decide. Join the channel's discord to lean more about monarchy: discord....

God Save Great George Our King

This is a variant of the anthem of Great Britain, God Save the King/Queen, that was popular among Loyalists in the Thirteen Colonies during the American Revolution. Most Loyalists or those neutral in the war were located in the south, such as the Carolinas. Approximately 15-20% of the colonists were loyalists. A sizable minority still. I respect Loyalists and the Hanovers equally. "You'll be ba...

It seems this song didn't the song say "The U.S. intends to...[insert whatever the U.S. intends to do, such as promote the perpetuation of the cause(s) and values of the U.S]." I feel that such lyrics would have made it feel very reassuring. I am therefore wondering why such lyrics were not included, if indeed they weren't. The British version seemed to create more of a sense of reassurance of national perpetuation and pursuit of things often associated with "maturity," and the maintenance of what the British seem to hold dear etc. perhaps such as their status and which treatment of them by others is that which is seen as being the one that the British are willing to accept. Also, it should be noted that near-modern British culture seems to have often promoted values such as moderation etc. that seemed like an attempt at SEEKING a perhaps rationally-identified "perfection." On the other hand, the average "American/United Statesian" culture generally seems to me to have a different focus; much United Statesian culture seems to focus more on continuing to fight for the causes for which the founding fathers of the U.S.A fought. The latter also seems somewhat similar to some of the causes upheld by many British Loyalists in Northern Ireland. Perhaps some parts of the United States such as the North East and New England have many cultures that have more emphasis (than some other US cultures) on values and causes more similar to those often promoted by near-modern British government culture and attitudes. This seems to often relate to the side that the North East was on in the American Civil War. Much of the south has cultures that are quite different, however it should be noted that this is not always the case and that some institutions do promote certain things such as the state of Georgia's current motto of "Wisdom, Justice, and Moderation" (although I have not verified whether this motto would be the same as a motto inherently promoting the pursuit of perfection, and I don't know whether the British have such a motto either or if the British merely promote values that often are associated with seeking perfection or if the British *have/do* none of these things).

It is interesting how there seem to be people holding onto such European etc. traits etc. in the United States. And they even seem to be largely holding onto their traditions etc. better than many Great Britain island inhabitants are, at least for certain things. It seems at least temporarily best if there was some land in Europe, Western Asia, and/or North Africa where the inhabitants followed the United States's political system and one of its European-ish, Western Asian-ish, and/or North African-ish cultures (which are some of the many cultures present in the United States today).

The problem is, no soundtrack album for Desiree had been released until the 2005 Varese Sarabande edition, so where exactly could it have been stolen from? That Varese album lists the track as ”Te Deum (Roger Wagner)”, but it’s unclear whether that’s a reference to a composer or that it was performed by the Roger Wagner Chorale.

If anyone was curious about the real way things happened on that glorious day. He didn’t snatch the crown from the pope. It was clear to all parties that the pope would be window dressing ONLY for the ceremony. He entered the cathedral wearing a gold laurel crown & held the “crown of Charlemagne” above his own head, but didn’t wear it as he was already wearing the laurels. He did however place a crown on her head that fit inside the tiara she was already wearing.
