Hi, how are you? I hope you're doing well today!
Today, we’ll take a look at the RX-178 Mk II AEUG bootlegged by JMS Brand. I’m amazed at how smooth and easy this kit was to build! You might be wondering why the cutting phase and part preview are still missing. I’m still recovering and taking care of my shoulder and shoulder blades, as I had previous issues with them from weightlifting. I didn’t expect it to happen this time, but I’ll definitely get back to it soon!

THis actually Xing Dong? I thought this was Modong so I was avoiding it.
I suggest trying the unicorn painting model,it's from the same xingdong brand,but it's actually not bad,very minimal loose parts,but they're not really loose at all,at least for my copy
Why the arms have a separate instruction?

gk version is from the pbandai at least thats what I heard, gaogao is the regular release

I feel something missing and then i realize that before the final assembling it already painted 😢 thats why i think its not a normal straight build

@@OscraftStudio bro you dont have to apologize because you do a great job..i just mean that why something common can become so good like that..and i can find the reason its detailing and i want to add too on my SF
@@m0m0n53 I think you are referring to the side of the shins? Honestly this kit is too plain, if you dont add some touch ups and wsd. I was also suprised as I progress with this kit and add some details and find out at the end it was turning to be a good kit. Ill also take this as a suggestion to point out the additional paints that I add to the kit so I can share it with everyone. I appreciate your comment 🥰
@@OscraftStudio when i start to watch the video i was thinking its gonna be a normal and the result is normal too but after it came to assembling scene wait wait wait did i see the thruster gold? And the leg air vent,,some silver on backpack...thats not from the factory and then when the video almost done and think "thats not a bootleg thats a bandai 😂"

Strike Freedom has no physical Shield, only beam shield
Did I miss something where the cutting part and built part ?
@@vw_hyperzero I am not able to do it for now as my shoulder hurts and can't maintain the position while recording during the cutting phase. I apologise, the part and assembly is there :)

@@vw_hyperzero Thank you! So right now I am comfortably cutting up pieces to less the stress on my shoulders.
I liked that it comes with the wings of light. However, it is clearly too heavy for the kit to support. Excellent video.

i think you could do 2 videos for each kit. One with the asmr build and the other is for reviewing. That's just my opinion tho^^. Although this kind of video is very usefull for some viewers, I think the asmr help them relax after a long hard working day!

Is this kit worth buying as a beginner?
Yes, yet I would suggest getting the Bandai original copy :) if you dont have the budget this is a good alternative.
This one is 10x better than GaoGao's

@@OscraftStudioyeah and im planning to get this kit too once it enters Indonesian e-commerce. Also an update: My JMS Zeta Karaba build experience sucks, it has so many problems and it took me a whole day just to build it nicely. I think i got a bad gacha kit.

What brand is that?
Im getting the Zeta karaba and custom paint it with standard Zeta's color scheme since the standard Zeta still needs 2 or 3 more months to enter Indonesia's e-commerce.

I know they just reused the mold they had for the Zeta 3, but man, the UC 088 version is right there. Couldn't they have just create a bootleg of that instead? And what's with the oversized V-fin?
It's the same with JMS Zeta Karaba too and maybe the same with Bandai's too since HG Zeta doesn't need it's head when converting to Waverider mode via dissasamble and reassamble.
@@akhdannaufaldy1693 That's JMS's own modification. The HG Zeta's V-fin are much more well-proportioned.
I really wanted the 0088 or Wave Shooter... I was given a bad copy of the 2017 revive, but if there's no plans for it in the future, I guess I'll go get me some Pbandai shit

The colors of this kit in the video are beautiful. And the details are identical to the JMS Zeta III. Excellent video, but I missed the building part.
@@rodrigogomes2206 I agree the color contrast and separation of this kit is beautiful! About the cutting Phase Im currently healing my shoulder, I only record a few but I cant continue that for the mean time and I will resume when I get well :)
Yeah nah, they just reused the mold from their other Zeta kit, and saddled us with sticker hell. The Zeta UC 0088 kit is right there, with some minor improvements, and better color separation, why couldn't they created a bootleg of that instead
@@willconn3620JMS choose to just reuse Zeta Karaba's mold because why not? It saved up more space and money.
@akhdannaufaldy1693 It will quite literally make them more money to release a bootleg of a PBandai kit that's an overall improvement upon the retail kit.

The water decals are actually for the RG Zeta because HG shouldn't have that much of water decals.

@BixSugi I see, thank you for your support then :)) Well, the only loose part I encountered were the side skirts and I have no problems on other parts it is sturdy and easy to play with.
