Starting and stopping a gas honda engine is fairly the same from unit to unit. But each piece of equipment will have some different instructions in order to prevent damage done. Such as a pressure washer, it's important to know what to do so pressure doesn't build up to the point of causing damage. If you are ever unsure, pulling out the manual will be a great start! These instructions were tak...

dont use those hose clamps,,,gonna slice your finger open when wet...
Best tutorial. Right to the point. Thanks
Had it plugged in wrong, thanks for the video, how long will it take to fully charge now you think?
What gas do you use for this?
other videos ive seen for pressure washer say regular unleaded
@@cwahlb1 correct
As the other person said, regular unleaded is correct. You can also use Ethanol-free gas that comes in an aluminum can from the hardware store. It is located by the lawnmowers, chainsaws etc... Not to be confused for the gas and oil mixture in the same style can. DON'T use that. That's for 2-stroke engines.
@@heidis8713it won’t cause damage I do lawn care and pressure washing I very regularly use my mixed fuel in my pressure washers
20 sec you mean 2 min and the way you started it with the water running is not good
I have heard about this but why is it not good ?
No, 20 seconds is correct. But better still, one should have the water flowing through the wand both when starting and when stopping the engine. And it is never a good idea to let off of the wand trigger when the engine is running unless your pressure washer is equipped with a release valve which prevents pressure from building up in the pump. You can well over heat your pump in under 2 minutes.
I really appreciate the video and feel that I actually needed to know this. Ima be honest tho... I seen a tiktok of guys messing with there rookie coworker, and didn't want that to happen to me one day😂😂 I wonder if that happened to my dad🤔😂

I plugged mine in to the floppy cord by the battery for about an hour and now the battery smells like something is burning and it's so hot i can't touch it
It would make 10 times more sense to swap those functions since most people would believe that the permanently affixed plug would be the charger port, while the floppy extension cord would be the auxiliary.
New machines have a much better design!
so hard to start even when new, Chinese enegine starts instantly.
Then blows up.

So if my guys can’t control the basket it’s the one that doesn’t charge the unit?
Thank you so much we had it plugged in the wrong plug all weekend , video helped a lot 💪🏾
Glad it helped!
Lol so after 2 pulls, turn the choke off and then how many more pulls before I'm suppose to carry it to you for service ?
Too many pulls can flood the engine. If after a few pulls it still isn't starting, contact us if it's our rental item or your nearest service center.
Yep i plugged it in all night where the rental delivery guy told me too, but it died early next morning
Apologies for the late response, at that point it could be a battery issue. Make sure there is water in the batteries and if not, call your nearest store!
