I agree!!!! I am black and I had to study Islam for myself in order to fell good about being Muslim. I had listened to too many people and frankly had read too many statements from some Arabs who were racist. After reading the Sirah of the Rasul (AS), I found my way back. This Brother should be listened to by everyone.

@SunniAthari Jazak'Allah khayr for the quick fix. The hadeeths narrated about removing hair from the cheek ( "I asked Ahmed about a man who trims from his cheeks? He should take off his beard what is in excess of a fistful.") basically implies the beard. It may be a linguistic meaning of the beard as one will not be able to remove excess of fistful from cheek, and Allahu'alim.

@rofisyedulislam Then al-Khallaal reported by way of Ishaaq who said, “I asked Ahmed about a man who trims from his cheeks? He should take off his beard what is in excess of a fistful.” When reading cheeks, the answer given is still below the fistful grabbed. @desertezz a peace treaty with the Jews, or with other kuffaar (disbelievers), does not mean having love for them, nor taking them as friends and allies. Rather it means only peace between the two sides and that each of them will not harm the other

May Allah guide us all. Why did the Prophet (saw) make pledges with Non-Muslims and sign pledges with not just Christians and Jews but Idol Worhippers but we can't do this among fellow Muslims who say Allah is one and Muhammad is his messenger? How do you explain the hilf al fudul, the prophet entered a pledge with idol worshippers before Islam and said if he was called to fulfill the pledge in Islam he would? We all need to humble ourselves and not be narrow minded in our study of Islam.
