I just discovered this band and it is disturbing that a band of this caliber gets 8000 plays a month on spotify. They are really good.

I was put onto The Besnard Lakes so many years ago (Thanks Zan Rowe on JJJ back when the station was good (I'm too old for it now)) I think when _Devastation_ was 'the new release' and to be honest, I have not found a band that comes close since. I go through every emotion from elation through peace to sadness regardless of whichever album I put on. My brain is wired and my heart is broken by every chord, riff, word and harmony. Thank you guys. This is one of the best and like another commenter, one listen is never enough.

Awesome song from a great retro-prog rock band that has been sorely missed over the last few years. This release should show up on a lot of this year's best alternative rock albums when all is said and done. Only issue with this post: is there any particular reason why you chose to use a publicity image from a hackneyed, overblown, bombastic piece of shit movie like "Clash of the Titans" that wasted 2 hours of my life- hours that I will never get back...."RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!"

Only complaint - the bad mixing on the low end. When the key change moves to a lower register, the bass is way to loud and is totally distorted; even with a good subwoofer listening source. I have even had to make sure that I turn down my car audio bass during those passages because it is very jarring and annoying when it happens.
