Incredible how quick and easy this is. I used to do middleware integration but at 55 I am getting back into coding and AI. Next video lesson could be connecting this to a backend database like supabase, adding authentication Clerk, etc. :) I even started using my voice with Mac dictation to tell Cursor what to do so not even typing the instructions lol.

Awesome video man. Btw your voice-overs are not in stereo, but mono and only coming from the left. And there seems hiss and hums and speech peaks which is consonants are at high dB and the other at low, need a compression. I don't know exactly the purpose of this video though but if you ever get perfectionist and if you ever want to make your sound more quality on your videos, you know the address 😛

Unfortunately my friend you have been hit by a typical tech bubble rather than an ordinary recession. When returns or interest rates on bonds dive into the single digits pension funds are forced to give books of cash to children with MBAs who are supposedly able to spot the next Facebook. Unfortunately so much of this cash comes out that any idea or the of being placed on a PowerPoint ultimately gets funded and low and behold it gets a greater and greater valuation in each successive round. However when interest rates start to rise and valuations reach insane levels the excess cash is sucked out of the market usually triggered by one epic failure like we work. Thereafter companies made of little more than cotton candy begin to vaporize and find themselves unable to get funding. Surprise surprise they no longer need at space on Google or Apple PCs for the workforce or slack to keep up the internal chat or Salesforce to manage non-existent customers so those companies experience a reversal of fortunes. The unfortunate thing is that it's usually cycles through several rounds of the layoff with some people experiencing two or more layoffs within a year. Unfortunately many people never return and it will take a decade before tech has the same volume need with respect to personnel. The interim is slow and painful and means that people must learn flexibility when they have for the last 10 years I'm only been told they're super special and should get what they want. Survival will depend on people finding a place where they can add value and which has real or imminent revenue. Forget about robots and self-driving vehicles when the company has a completely different foundation of revenue. Special projects and vanity efforts will not be a safe place to hide. Get as close to the company's primary revenue stream as possible and learn how to demonstrate and articulate your value your contribution. We're no longer in a world where everyone gets a trophy. From here on in it's hunger games. Not trying to rain on your parade but I watched this play out before and I'm trying to give you a heads up so you are not blindsided by what is to come. You must be self-promotional and proactive. Don't listen to recruiters instead read analyses of earnings reports on any company you plan to work with. Recruiters are often the last to know that layoffs are coming when you will hear Wall Street talking about the need to trim long before the company acknowledges it. I'm sorry this happened to you and I certainly wish you the best.
