I use a combination of fleece and minky for the fabric. The dark grey patch is minky, while the body is made from a fleece blanket. I appreciate your interest in my work!

As for the printing issue, you can print any embroidery file as long as you have a software that you can open the files with. For using it as a stitch pattern you'll have to make sure that you print 100% the size of your designs. Most software will provide a split option that you can print and tape together in order to get a full pattern. Hello dear Susan and thank you for making our lovely kitty. No you are not missing any files, the back of this kitty is one piece of fabric, no middle back stitch needed. Hello dear Ruth, it depends on the type of poly fill you are using, I can tell you that my finished 5x7 teddy has approximately 38-40 grams(1.4 oz) filled and it took about 25-30grams(0.9 oz) of toy filling.
