Thank you for making a video on this. It has really shown the decline of a once great game. As a former player who used to play FE2 on and off since 2018, I have seen the game have its ups and downs. Currently, I have many grievances with the game, but the main one being that it isn't beginner friendly. Having you, a completely new player, be turned off by the immense difficulty of the game is very understandable, because the game simply doesn't do *anything*, quite frankly, to aid new players other than "Hey! Do you want this starterpack which only gives you random items and doesn't actually help increase your skill whatsoever?" There used to be something called "Chill Mode," designed for new players, which would only allow them to play the maps from the 3 lowest difficulties of the game. From what I saw, new players enjoyed getting used to FE2 that way. But guess what? The creator of the game removed it and tried combining the features of chill mode into the regular game by having the intensity reset occasionally. Also, not to mention the game *literally doesn't have a tutorial.* How are new players supposed to know what they're doing? People like you just get tossed into the chaos... with no idea of what to do. Wish more could be done to help new players grasp what FE2 is... "Freaky mode" seems like a way to get attention to the game. Capitalizing on the brainrot of kids on Roblox... not a good move if you want to have a quality game. The creator must have gone mad after losing in the Innovation Awards to other obby games. But also, FE2 has been on a decline for a while now, as things have gotten stale. The formula that many people used to enjoy never changed. It's old now, and new additions have done nothing to rectify that. No new mechanics, barely any changes in the core gameplay in the last 6 months or so... just new maps. I guess that's what happens tho. Oceans rise, empires fall. It's been a good run for FE2 while it lasted. Thanks again for making this vid, it really shows how FE2 is seen by the common new player. Should be a wakeup call to the devs! srry for ranting guys if it feels rushed that's cause it is i just wanted to get my feelings out cause i used to love this game soooo much :( also peanut butter
