Just ran across your channel. Your bow making tutorial was spot on. I have a bow maker but I’m having trouble learning the basics lol, plus I’m using 4 different ribbon. Wide with wired sides. Right now I’m just trying to learn how to make a decent bow. I’m using Christmas Wreaths that I got for 90% off after Christmas last year. My daughter had this bright idea for me to make up maybe 25 wreaths. Plus I decoupage pretty Christmas scene napkins on canning jars, I always add a light under the lid and it’s a big thing around here. I’ve got that down where I can almost do a perfect jar. Sometimes I put epsom salt around by scene, sometimes glitter that matches what ever color the napkin I put on the jar. Well she decided we should do a couple of shows, and let me just say I wanted to run. I always made wreaths for gifts that I would give away, or if someone wanted me to make one for them as a gift they wanted to give. But my problem has always been the bows. Everytime I make one I just look at it and toss it. They never seemed to be pretty enough to add to a wreath. I was lucky enough that my friend would come over and make several for me🥰 But watching your video seems so simple, and I do believe I can make a few after watching you. Thanks for explaining and going slowly, describing as you went along. Ive subscribed to your channel, I hope to see all that you have done or do. I’m a country Ga 🍊. No not young I’m 67, but she always comes up with things for me to do. I think she’s afraid that I’ll stop crafting and well you know fall by the wayside. But I’m so happy I ran across your channel, continue crafting, so I can continue to stay busy. Much love, Beth 🩷

Hi Candy! I love the coordination of colours in your bow ! I also have the Bowdabra and I've made magnificent bows with a myriad of embellishments for weddings - nothing I've seen made by anyone else so far... I'd like to comment on the display of your ribbon that has writing. Such patterns and others, can be made on the Bowdabra! Anything you do with your hands can be done with the Bowdabra... I don't see where the problem is - there is a way - I've done it!!!

Thanks for sharing. I recently started making bows and because my hands are arthritic, I have a hard time squeezing the wire tight enough so I use a smaller non-wired ribbon.😁

Hi, where do you find your ribbons in the big roll? Im looking to use alot and its important to keep costs down and having a lot on a roll would be nice since i usually cant find enough wired ribbon. Thanks.
