    While they are fun for a project, do not rely on that type of moisture sensor for any crops that are relied on. They will corroded and give false readings either drying out or flooding your plants. I wouldnt hesitate to use them to grow a tomato on my porch, but my 100 acre field no way.

      Yeah Exactly You are Right. These Sensors and Controllers are basically for Prototype Building. We can get an idea how the system will work. For Commercial purpose use definitely we will need to use an industrial level commercial Sensors for better performance.

      Please solve the equation for Vx by yourself you will get the answer. this equation becomes -2Vx = -8 Now divide on both sides with -2 you will get Vx = 4V

    Very clear. I think this is called crowbar protection. I used to use one diode in series with the power source until I got tired all the support calls, "its not working at all". They hooked the source backwards. So I just added a full wave bridge rectifier to the design. Now with one standard part usually cheap doesn't matter how the power is hooked up. In my limited experience, the ones sensitive to the polarity have more farads per a given size. Over voltage will make them blow also.

The statement says, that element is supplying power of 72W and if you have completed my earlier lectures you will be familiar that the suppled power is taken with minus sign.       Dear here you have to clear one confusion. Slope line formula is not mandatory for the calculation of energy here we used it just because of the straight lines are present in the given plot of energy. secondly if you apply same formula on constants you will get the answer without variable "t" . which shows that constant is not changing with respect to time "t". I hope you understand my point.
