2007 Tacoma Off-road Build
I have always wanted to build a Toyota Tacoma but never had there resources till the last few years. I didn't know what I was getting into when I picked up this 2007 2nd Gen Tacoma with a 6-inch Bracket lift. But with some work, I have it driving pretty well.
Thanks to @TAVLLC for the suspension work.

In this video, we take a look at both the Athlete and the Adventure packs to help you decide which might be the right one for you. * Note, I made the mistake of referring to the pouches as the belt and not being removable. They are just pouches, and the full belt is the removable part. Just had the belt on my mind.

Thanks buddy, I have been interested in this one for quite some time, but hearing about other people’s experiences with something that’s not cheap is a great way to feel confident about getting it! But, I shouldn’t worry about anything other than affording it because I have not regretted buying a SureFire before. I think sometimes it’s better to buy one, cry once! 😂 Especially when it’s a tool that it could get you killed if it stops working! Thanks again. Best wishes to you and your family. ✌️🇺🇸

How is this bag holding up today compared to other options? (Especially in terms of comfort) Do you still use it? I'm still trying to find the perfect camera backpack (like everyone else). I've tried the Shimoda 35l Explore V2 and Action X30 but for some reason Shimoda's harness system just doesn't work well for me and I find their bags very uncomfortable even after loads of adjustments. The Think Tank Urban Access 15 is much more comfortable but I find the layout limiting. The Fstop Shinn 80l is very comfortable for it's size and weight when used with the hip belt but it's far too big for most daily carry use. It's also hard to find bags with good depth to store larger lenses vertically like the Canon RF 70-200mm (5.75") and RF 28-70mm F2. The Compagnon 20l and 30l look great but are very expensive and hard to find much recent feedback on compared to other options.

Hey, thankyou for the questions. I do not use this bag anymore. I held onto it for a few more months past the review, but I keep going back to my Nya-evo. I find it interesting that the Shimoda is uncomfortable, as that was one of the bast harnesses that I have used. But to be honest when I head out and carry a lot of gear or have big lenses I grab my Nya-evo Fjord 60c (a close second for me was the Wandrd Fernweh, but I didn't like the cube access) I have reviews of both on www.carryology.com

@@mattritscher1930 thank you for the info! I have been looking at the NYA Evo too but wasn't sure if it'd be too big for daily carry. I was confused too about why the Shimoda bags were uncomfortable for me. I tried so many different adjustments, the S, M, and L for torso length, but no matter what the straps just left my shoulders/traps hurting after a short period. I'm very skinny/bony with visible collar bones so I'm wondering if the way their straps are designed (relatively thin and light) just doesn't work with my build. All of my other bags have much more substantially padded straps.

Laptop compartment is useless and added weight not needed as my laptop doesn't even fit. Its way too padded, which is good, but its so much weight. Its 2-3x heavier than a normal hiking bag. The hip strap has expandable pockets, which is great, but it sucks as they are not removable, which makes using the hip pockets useless, as you cant use them.

Nice looking pack but the 500 price tag kind of kills it for me.

Yeah, the high price tags on quality bags is hard to swallow, But the can take a beating and will last linger than the cheaper bags.

I spent the entire video waiting for you to show me inside the individual pockets and you never did. 😆 Seriously though, what they look like in there?
