Somehow this got recommended to me,also want to clear out a single misunderstanding and where you possibly went wrong. EASY doesn't make the game SLOWER , that's half time. What easy does is lower approach rate,decrease hp so you die slower,give you a total of 3 lives or 3 bonus lives,i forgot and lower OD which is overall difficulty or better said ffaccuracy is easier. Speed stays relatively the same. The difficulty of easy primarily comes from having to actually use brain and understand the order of notes rather than react. So I mentioned I will say where you went wrong right? It's adding dt on nomod tillerino recommendations. Technically tillerino gives you pp maps,so if you are much better than your rank,then it will be fine. But Double Time isn't impeded by EASY. It still speeds up the map,just the notes don't look the same. Actually if you panic in EASY, you can easily notelock and miss a bunch by just hitting the notes too early twice (I think that's how notelock worked? forgot) .

Easy is (unsurprisingly) easier on maps you've played before, so if you're gonna try learning it, start with maps you're comfortable on. You can also change the difficulty in steps (either changing only the ar, or only the cs), and I've found that helps me in some cases And lastly, the skin can be a big part of it, i personally use a mafam mix skin mainly, but I've found that I've been able to read vaxie's 2023 skin pretty well Take all of this with a grain of salt i can barely play ez lmao
