Hi Dan, I've just started using Speechify for my TTS. You are allowed to use the voices on RUclips too.
interesting
Modern people got to napa in 1823 I believe. 27 years. I wouldn't consider that much older. 1850 is really old here. Most of the old stuff is 1870s and 80s 80s
I have been there many times starting in the late 1950's to about the mid 1970's. It was a much better place back then before lots of fires and vandals ruined the place. The soda water bottling plant was still intact with many soda bottles and boxes of bottle caps just sitting around.
Bon Aore plaza baby do a video on that lol
I used to go up there as a kid and was spray paint on the building and drink beer and throw the bottles. We had so much fun up there it is a really weird place there are still statues up there. Give a shot out to John Josh Becky you know who you are. We used to party up there all the time but occasionally they would get mad like you said and they would Chase us off and shoot salt-rock at us. 🥳 -trav perk
i am watching this in science/research class rn
How.... Unique
Don’t bother trying to go here FYI. People who’s houses burned down live in trailers outside of the ruins, and get super pissed if you go up there
This was actually the old Napa Soda Springs, a resort like distillery that was burned by arson in the early 1960s, meaning its not a structure lost in the more recent Napa fires. Last I heard it's currently up for sale!
Thanks for the info, it's a shame that they mind so heavily.
It’s the old Napa Soda Springs buildings. Said to of been built sometime in the 1850s. If you go up Soda Canyon Road you’ll see the stone pillars on the side of the road up a ways. I believe they’re structures much older than we are being told. Probably left over Tartarian buildings... look up JonLevi for more info
Congratulations Katie! 👏👏👏
Thanks for it.
Where in Napa is this, and how do I get there?

Thought from your drione for a minute. .
Nice work - this is a very good video, with lots of scene changes every few seconds. I have lots of people i know who own drones, many videos are long clips from very high up that five little detail. Keep at it, and look forward to seeing more ..
Love it, Dr. Russell. Thanks for sharing. Sounds, fishes and everything looks so beautiful. Perfect to keep watching, to meditate and to enjoy every day
You make it look so easy. I would love to see other videos showing your steps, along with your thoughts as to the results come up. Is this the way to submit our results for future challenges in 2017? Cool!
It's been suggested before that I produce a weekly video to go along with the SearchResearch answers. It's a great idea, but they take a fair bit of time to do. This one I just turned on the screen-recorder and ran it (mostly to show a friend how I did it). I do like your suggestion, and will try to do more in the coming year!
Half a second good for the water, but actualy too _slow_ for the clouds, which are bumpy. I love the crane at 1:11. Happy New Year!
+Luís Miguel Viterbo To see the clouds move, click on the gear icon, then select 2X. That's a better timelapse for the clouds.
+PSWG3 I saw them moving already. Still jumpy at double speed, although you're right in that the movement becomes a little smoother.
Amazing photos Dr. Russell.
Thanks, Dr. Russell. Great to know how to work with data and adding one more tool of knowledge
I think the best way to accomplish this task is to use XSLT. When you use Macintosh, use can use xsltproc from the terminal. Looks like this prompt$ xsltproc kml2csv.XSLT my.xml I found an XSLT that can be used. stackoverflow.com/questions/10195399/transforming-xml-formerly-kml-using-xslt The XSLT in the second answer works without any errors. But, I don't know so much about kml and I can not tell this XSLT is suit for your aim or not.
Mikio Nakajima Thanks.
adding this comment as applies to this video, ''from time to time, I change my tagline - here's my latest effort. I believe this more than ever. For example, take the brilliant Google Search Slideset from +Dan Russell - for free, 141 slides on how to find stuff, it's invaluable > goo.gl/TiUvNE .. On meeting someone in adult education (a few days ago) - I had to start at block one, this is a google account .. As I asked Dan in his hangout, ''What is your best tip to get more people to use these valuable skills? (we must all get frustrated as teachers)'' tune in to watch and his reply ..pose questions that people care about or find interesting - something they will find compelling watch at ruclips.net/video/l6dOnfcwajM/видео.htmlh14m44s my g+ post: plus.google.com/+MikeDownes/posts/DGNVac5jgYh
