I loved this movie and I loved Russell hammy over the top performance. I would give it the push to a 7. SPOILER - I guess you are taking about the scissors to the eye and the uncle being okay.

I saw this and liked it, but the original was better. I liked the third act of the original more. There was also a scene in the original where they discussed with friends if they should go.

Remarkable music in this movie.

I almost saw this in cinema, but it just seemed way to odd. I will not pay for it, but I would give it a see. As a side note, give the new Amber Alert (2024) a see. I enjoyed it.

I saw this in cinema with movie pass and found it boring as heck. I was alone in the cinema and on my phone the entire time b/c it was very slow moving and dry in my opinion. I did not like it at all. Skip it Kimmel. Skip it.

I tried watching this in the cinema and just couldn't get into it. If it is free on streaming maybe I will give it a second chance. But I couldn't get into it at all.

SPOILERS *** The Cuckoo Women are an ancient species that implant their eggs in young human women to propagate their species. Herr Konig is running the resort as a covert science experiment/lab to allow the Cuckoo Woman to invade the Love Nest which is occupied by a young couple on their Honeymoon. The Cuckoo Woman reaches into her own nether regions to pull out her slimy goop in her hand (which contains her egg). From there, the Cuckoo Woman inserts her egg in between the human woman’s legs so she can implant the egg into her uterus. From there, the human woman and human proceed to have sex, unknowingly fertilizing the Cuckoo Woman’s egg (which is actually inside the human woman’s uterus). They then give birth to a Cuckoo Hybrid (notice, the species is always female) which will then grow up to continue the cycle and implant their own eggs into other unsuspecting women.

I saw it in cinema. It was okay. Just okay. I like John Cho alot so that helped. The ending was very abrupt and there was more to mine there but it just didn't go anywhere at the very end. It was okay, but we have seen this story before. You are dating yourself with Harold and Kumar and America Pie, but I grew up with those films as well. This movie was okay or worth a see at home. Give it a try at home.

Luckily I didn't know anything about the movie before watching.

Jeff I watched this yesterday and honestly it was not very good. It wasn't dreadful, but it was not good. I managed to finish it b/c I am a Joey fan. Joey was supposed to be 15 in this but she is in her late 20s! Also Joey King ugly?! Are you insane! Wasn't that good really. Skip it.

I am to stiny to pay for the movies, so I wait for them to come to free streaming. I have a movie pass for the immediate moment but I may cancel it b/c I may have less time moving forward. Anyhow, Catching Dust does not seem worth it. I like that, you win some and you lose some. It is always the roll of a dice. Phone the director and complain. I hate getting hosed out of $ for bad movies, but it happens sometimes. The Boys female lead got a new face via surgery. I do not want to comment exact on her decision, but she was very cute before so unsure when she made that decision point.

I believe I skipped this in cinema b/c it was a foreign movie and as you said I did not know anyone in the cast You seemed to like to like it okay, so many I will give it a try if I see it on streaming. To me you are a fantastic movie chair quarterback.

To me I just don't really care for these types of movies. IDK when I was much younger I may have connected with it, but now over 15 years past the demographics of the folks in the movie, I don't connected with it. I joke now with my buddies that I used to connect with the teens in these movies, now I relate more to the parents. Lol.

If you recall I did not like LongLegs. Worst of first half of 2024 for me and yes Cage was over the top at times.

To me I just wasn't interested in this movie. Maybe I would see it on streaming. You are in fact good at movie reviews, call center management, and being a family man. Jeff Kimmel, good at alot.

I saw it. It was okay. It was okay. Worth a see. Good cast of folks and okay movie. For sure worth a see at home and it was worth a see with the movie pass. I love that you never make it to the cinema. I get it. I think a sequel can build on this film.

I like the fact that you seem to have a wardrobe change. I think it is better to watch the film straight from start. Anyhow, this movie just didn't ger much buzz and seemed like it has been done many times over before. Skip it for me.

I liked how there was a costume change. This didn't do well in cinema b/c 3 hours was to long for most movie goers, thus why part 2 may come straight to streaming. I did not see this, but if it comes to streaming I would give it a see. I just cannot sit down in a moviehouse for 3 hours. That is a long time.

This is off topic but I am still praying you watch Labor Day on Labor Day. It really was a great movie. I am watching it now.

Scorched is a movie I just like watching... is it hilarious? Not really, but there's a level of charming to it that makes it perfect for my ADHD to have on in the background. No angsty drama, nothing that makes me cringe, it's just dumb and Rachael Leigh Cook in her grrrrrrl rock phase is just makes something weirdly watchable. See also Blow Dry (2001, just as stacked cast, even more British, and actually funny), and Josie and the Pussy Cats (Also 2001, but perhaps the funniest of the 3).

This is an excellent beer to enjoy on occasion. It is not something that I would ever drink regularly. However, I enjoy the crap out of it as a treat..

This movie actually did very poorly in financial. It was a total box office bomb b/c it was about a side character and it was to long. Personally I just was not interested in giving it a see. You seemed to like it and that is laudable.

This movie got accolades b/c Tubi movie tend to be mid, but this was solid. Your assessment was great, sort of like Wrong Turn meets Signs of sorts. A prequel would be wanted in this case. I personally almost stopped watching after 20 minutes, but it got better. For sure worth a see, and it is free. If you like this sub genre, it is for you.

I just cannot do Smith. I do not like Smith post slap. No Smith and no Smith movies. Forget Smith, not for me.

I actually almost saw this in cinema, but it was out of movie houses fast. It seems sort of generic for this type of film, but I like Matthew so I wanted to give it a see. I would watch it on streaming. These types of movies tend to be very feel good.

Yea there are definitely better options than this. I typically enjoy all the asian films. I just watched Minari, Monster, Past Lives & liked all of them more than this. Parasite & Decision to Leave are 2 of my favorites. Oldboy is also interesting.

I just still don’t get about the whole texting thing like was Chance doing it the whole time?? Was there someone else involved?? I just don’t get his jealousy at all. Like aside from seeing Brooke talk to Colton once we never see them talk again. All we get are these wired text messages. Whatever was wrong with Chance I feel never really came through. And then like he lying to Colton’s mom about being homeless and having stomach cancer. I just didn’t get that at all.
