Doing Life
Добавлен 20 авг 2007
I believe life without purpose leads to chaos and unhappiness. A human with no purpose is a shell and not a complete person. What that purpose is, is as individual as each person who has ever lived and the path to true fulfillment is just "Doing". So here it is. Us, "Doing Life"

nice vid lose the music please!!!!
Four years later, and this remains the only video available for installing the FF4. The written instructions from CDI are a disaster. Thank you for making this video! Furler is now installed and working great!
Thank you for this video. I just replaced the halyard on my FF4 that I installed in 1994. That style had a plastic traveler. I was having a hard time conceptualizing how the new one with the ferrule was supposed to work. Your video was a lifesaver. Like you I also had a problem with the sealed end of the halyard being a glob of plastic that was too big to fit through the the Top Fitting. I didn't chew on it but I tried squishing it with pliers with no success. In the end I had to cut the glob off and re-seal it properly with a hot knife, shaping the edge so it tapered inward, not outward. Once that was done it was thin enough to get up through the hole but not enough to get over the sheave. I just kept jamming it upward into the hole with a screwdriver until the line finally stuck out just enough over the sheave to grab it with pliers and pull it through. Whew!
what size furling line did you use or did it come with some? 5/16?
idk what you can hear. yea my tundra is dogshit and i need stop driving around w a giant jbl
swore id never be this guy but so i cant get fired - don't you not want to use power tools taking those initial scews out only manual?
Excellent mermaid aquarium
Thank you very much
@@KeithSchrecengost your welcome
Perfect weather to sail
So nice
THANK YOU!!
Glad it helped!
I got a quote yesterday for full installation with head unit for $1600. I will definitely be doing this myself on my 06’.
Really so simple
Hello hi, everybody. I have the need to find some parts for this system. Do you know where I can get part to complete my roller ferlin? I would appreciate all your help thank you
I'd try contacting CDI furlers
@@KeithSchrecengost thanks you my is discoutinud
Glad to see you riding again bro. 💯💯💯
Glad to be riding again!!
Who gets back on a bike after a crash with no gloves? I don't understand.
He has two thumbs and it's this guy..
So let me see if I can get this right. You bought a used bike and the owner told you it had brake problems. You take it to the shop and they say they looked at them and made adjustments. You take the bike out and notice the rear brake it LOCKING UP and you continue to ride it. Then on the day of the accident you put your wife on it with you and it locks up again and you CONTINUED to ride it. Either you have a huge life insurance policy out on her or you don't like her that much. Never and I mean NEVER get on a bike that has braking issues. And now after a get off that resulted in a pretty serious injury you are running around with no gloves on. Also, you don't have to slam the throttle closed when shifting. The squid is strong with this one.
Thank you for your positivity, it was much needed. Glad you are perfect in every way. Bless you and your god like keyboard skills!
You need gloves 😉
Totally have them. Hard to find a good fit with my Sasquatch hands. Thanks though. You are right 😉
I go with Dainese. You should see my gear after crash… It saved me from lots of pain.
Crashing is rarely 'just timing'. What was wrong with the rear brake? How does a hydraulic disk brake lock-up, and stay locked up? The front brake should be doing most of the braking anyway in a panic stop. Hope your healing goes well. Maybe your wife could buy you some gloves for Christmas to protect your hands...???
Thanks! I'm almost back to full on. Not sure about the brakes. I was assured by the shop they were right. But my friend who picked it up said they were locked. I can say that they were definitely locked while my leg was broken and I could not continue to engage them. So there is that evidence.
Thank you this video/story. Beginner here and this was helpful before i start riding.
Absolutely. I've been riding for over 30 years. Stuff happens. But it's also amazing and awesome. If a beginner, I'd definitely recommend a class. Even a veteran can learn something
Doh, what's the bike?
Concours 1400
Correct
The one I wrecked was a Yamaha Royal Star. The one riding is Concours 1400. Far superior in my opinion, but not as comfortable for a passenger.
❤️🇲🇦❤️
Excellent music. Excellent views! Where is this?
Half of it is literally right down the road from your office. The first part is in Woodruff.
Fm modulator 5 bucks plugs into 12 volt
Nowhere near as fun
Exactly what we need!
Brilliant job with your version of physical therapy 😅😂 This is perfect!!!
Lmaooooooooo I'm in the same boat with knee surgery bro keep at it. It's rough to recover
Nice video!!
Thanks! Next ones will be better
Walhalla * 😂
Fixed! Autocorrect got me
"I am the man who grabs the sun, riding to Walhalla! Witness me, blood bag! Witness!"
Nice 😂😂
This is awesome!
The ride back down to Walhalla is even better. But Franklin to Highlands is the shiz.
Absolutely Brilliant Bke Ride Really enjoyed watching the Program Well done 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much. I'm putting the rest of the ride up in 3 more parts. I'll apologize for the singing along with my music now. They will be up over the next week or so
@@KeithSchrecengost Singing on the Bike it's Not a problem don't need to apologise. I Look forward to your New Bike video. My only advice is Keep the Bike picture on you tube just like this one So I will Recognise your program Again BIG THANKS. GREAT. VIDEO I Love Bikes I grew up on one 👍👍👍👍
I'm currently recovering from a crash unfortunately. A few days later, while we were cruising along at 30mph, some cars road rage brake checked in front of us. Broke my Tib And Fib. So when I come back, I'll be on my other bike. But that will be a couple of months. Boo.
@@KeithSchrecengost Sorry to hear about your bike accident I hope you get better soon I know how it feels because I had many accidents with my Bike when i was yang. But. I still didn't give up on. riding bikes. I em. Just So much more careful. So about the program. I like it 8 think is Brilliant idea and I don't mind waiting for your New Videos. Just send me massage of the title and I will find it and will subscribe to it. Ones Again Get Well Soon. All the Best Wishes. Take care. 🏍️🏍️
Top notch Keith. Thank you for making this happen!
Only the beginning sir
Disappointing video, tells bothing about how to install a CDI device
It's a shame you didn't like it. Although, it was just a video to show it working as stated in the title and in the very beginning of the video. Perhaps you should look at the video that is the actual installation instead. That one seems to make people really happy.
We've all been there!
Hi there, did you ever do the second CDI video after you raised the mast. We could use some advice.
What you need? I did a short video of it working. Apparently someone was very disappointed because it didn't show what this one did. Never sure why someone would say something negative when the title clearly stated it was a follow up.😂
I wasn’t on the water, so don’t know what was said between 777 and 33, but know the rules state a boat must be given time to keep clear. If I were 33, I would have taken my turns but protested and filed for redress, as I don’t see a universe in which 777 allowed 33 time to keep clear.
These Barient winches seem to be ok but i definitely would like to have some self tailoring ones.
Self tailing is definitely the way to go if you can afford it. Did you figure out your winch issue? Sorry, I don't check these videos for comments much.
I have a 10 that the drum will not come off.. it spins but no go on the removal.
On the 10p what if the 3/16 Allen just spins without coming off?
That is very curious. Never had that happen before
Would You dare Bluewater? People Are Saying Since There's No Escape Hatch, it Wouldn't be Advisable, but the Trimaran, is One of the Safest Boats Around. i Wonder if a Solo Sailor could Do It.
My friend, who owned this boat, sure thought hard about it
Useless video.
Wow, close call. Lead boat almost decapitated.
what harnesses you use?
Thank you for this video. Where can I get the release key used in the beginning of the video?
I'd imagine that the manufacturer or a second party on the web. Mine came with the boat.
Do your back seats fold down?
Yes they do. Not much room back there though
Great video, many thanks. Just bought a 30-year-old Capri 26 at Keowee Sailing Club, and want to upgrade the original CDI main bearing (teflon) to the roller bearing, this helps tremendously to see what I'll be into. Just missed Hospice, hope to be there next year.
Can't wait to see you there!
Thank you for this video, helped me figure out how to raise the jib for the first time on my boat!
Glad it helped!
Enjoyed your video very much. Perfect conditions. Thank you for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
If you have a link to where you purchased the new speakers that would be helpful!
Dan! Sorry just seeing this. I never get notice when a comment comes up. Everything came from Amazon.
Thanks for sharing this - - - I have to do exactly the same for my Tundra!
I think that’s nuts of you for using a power drill/driver to screw in those screws to secure the speakers onto the brackets. For myself and many others out there, the stakes are too high(risk of slipping and damaging speaker) for such a low payout (job done a smidge faster). To each their own. Thanks for sharing, regardless. Aloha
You actually have more axial control over a screw gun than you do a screwdriver, because you don't have to apply as much torque with your actual hand. Variable speed triggers make an electric screw gun or drill the safest choice, while maybe still using a handscrewdriver to verify final torque.
True, and at the same time, things can spin outta control a lot easier and quicker with a drill. Case in point - 33:15. Ive never done that with a hand powered screwdriver, but have poked a hole in the surround using a drill/driver. Maybe that’s just me being traumatized, idk.
I can't tell you how many hours I have with drivers. I have also been a Hairstylist for 30 years. So... it hurts to go manual but I have a lot of coordination
OK, I'm about to try this alone. Do you see the terror in my writing? Here gooooes. BTW, you didn't mention if alcohol was a good assist.
I'd say After... Maybe just a little right before. How did it come out?
