Those who criticize Professor Ramseyer of Harvard University and Professor Yong-hoon Lee of Seoul National University are basing their claims on the testimonies of women who claim, "I was a comfort woman." However, the testimonies of these women often have important parts of their testimonies changed or contradicted with historical facts. On the other hand, positivists have painstakingly collected the testimonies of people who lived in the same era and historical data from various countries. The views of the positivists have come together within a certain range. For more information on the views of positivists, see The True History of Japan-Korea Relations (2021/3/5) "Comfort Women Contract; Crackdown on Academic Freedom over Harvard Professor's Paper."

In the case of Southeast Asian countries, Japanese military units often asked local influential people to recruit private prostitutes. They were not exactly included in the category of comfort women, which are public prostitutes, but the nature of their work was similar.

In the case of the Dutch comfort women, about 40 of the 300 comfort women did not understand the exact nature of their work due to lack of explanation by the Japanese. After the situation was discovered, the Japanese military apologized directly to these women.

How likely is it that I will receive my COE which has been guaranteed by the sponsor one week before the ban 28.12 to arrive in my country by February, with the government now stalling any visa issues until 31.01 and the state of emergency being in place until 07.02? What are your thoughts, will it become possible to start exchange student program in April or highly unlikely?
