Yep. Rode Tower of Terror/Giant Drop GoldCoast OZ, pretty much the same, except it has a rollervcoaster going up it too. My experience was that its 'beyond' fear. It all happens so fast that my brain didnt have enough time to comprehend what hapened in the moment and likely went into fight or flight mode and the adrenalin likely protects you from the fear being able to register. As for the ride up, just enjoy the view. They give a 'false start' in OZ to shake you a little, then it just drops ...maybe the false start makes you laugh that it didnt happen, then seconds later it does. Before you can fully comprehend it youre at the bottom.
