Back-ups at every position except QB and UGA still won by 2 scores. Vol fans knew about Beck's struggles, who didnt? Georgia has the best coach in football. 2 or 3 deep, that's why they win. Not even a discussion really. One thing (and this is the 6th Tennessee themed site i've visited) is that every year since Josh arrived--there is yet another player that has gaudy numbers but runs into a wall when playing the Dawgs. Not a single Volfan has even mentioned this. It's clear to me--if you have a star player than he is targeted by Kirby and his staff and is taken out of the game ASAP. Doubt this? Ask Marvin Harrison Jr. Vols running game was good but Nico had only 1 pass for 15+ yards. Being one-dimensional is the surest way to lose to Georgia.

The reason why Georgia doesn't usually loose often is because there football players in the trenches are 4 "s taller and 50 pounds heavier than Tennessee trench players and they Georgia has a way better strength program than Tennessee has got we Tennessee are way behind Georgia in that department

The failure to make ANY creative tweaks to fit our offense's anemia and the lack of playmakers remain monstrous question marks. Is there a special receiver or offensive lineman this staff has signed? Is Matthews hurt? One creative play (Kitselman's running play) and done? Same hiccups, different year.

I attended the game and it was great. The Vols came out strong and never relinquished the large lead. Had some issues at the end of the first half with some errors fouling and giving Louisville points late.

Impressive coach and his team will learn from this experience! GBO!!!
