As a maori who enjoys our culture being shared its fair to advise other cultures that we as a people take custom and tradition very seriously and we feel offended if our haka was to be parodied or mocked for entertainment, it takes away the true purpose

I'm a 6'5 American bodybuilder. I used to live in NZ and the last time i was there, i was in an elevator at a hotel on the North Shore of Auckland and the boys trying out for the world cup stepped into the elevator with me. I'm 6'5 and a solid 110kg. Ive never felt so tiny in my life. These men were not human. They were giants. I honesty thought the elevator would break....but thankfully, they let me live to tell this tale. I still have my NZ jersey, though I don't dare look at it without permission

In WW2 a Maori platoon was fighting a Wermacht Platoon, the Germans ran out of ammo. They sent over an an officer to the Maori lines to surrender, the Australian officer asked his NCOs (all Maoris) if they had an opnion. The NCOs asked if they could lend the enemy ammo to keep fighting.

In terms of being on the receiving end.. you don't wanna be disrespecting them. It's more than tribal it goes really deep into the culture. The best thing you can do is be solid and lifeless and just watch. Disrespect would be marking yourself. The bottom line is this is the ALL BLACKS. For most of rugbies history they have been the most dominant country and team in the world and not by a little. Think Jordan Dream team in the Olympics. Being marked would be a VERY rough game for you.

Years ago... When i played the old PlayStation 2 versions of Madden NFL game... I created a whole league of madden teams. Every player on every team was made by me. Something to do... I learned of the All Blacks....and mnamed one of my teams after them. The All Blacks. They were a strong team. And often win the "Championship".And were so strong... They became the arch-rivals of my personal team... The Invincibles. I would start the game with the kick-off...and then let the cpu run the game. (I enjoyed just watching).
