Thanks Col, it was great to have a change of scene. We went to a lovely park out there with parakeets, turtles, and lovely landscaping. It was great to come home and see some success in the garden. Stu says you're off to Oz next year it's amazing, but be careful of the spiders they are massive.

Hooooray! Welcome back. :) Nice to see that you can harvest something. Worried everything would be gone by now (eaten, drowned, withered). The hibiscus has a beautiful color, hope it survives.

Thank you, it was a lovely break and finally we can eat something this year. I was worried too checking the weather online luckily it hadn't been too hot. I hope the hibiscus survives it's always a worry when you buy them on offer.

Welcome back! You've done really well with the vegetables and other plants, especially considering all the rain You've had! The potatoes look delicious! If you have a green success rate over 50 percent, you have done well in my book lol. I like the color you have painted the fence as well. Very nicely done!

Thanks Dave, my neighbour watered while it was hot, but it's been pouring down since. I will test the potatoes out tomorrow with lots of butter. I have missed eating runner beans though and will have to buy them in again. I'm excited about the tomatoes, I've never had so many grow and I still need to finish painting the fence it's Cuprinol Seagrass.

Hi I hope everyone enjoyed your holiday 😊. Bit of topic but Can I ask do you know of an effective method to keep cats from using your garden as a litter box, any suggestions would help please

Hi thank you it was much needed. I'm glad you brought this up because it's something I struggle with everyone's cat uses my garden as a litter box so I'm trying different methods. The veg areas I have been putting up netting etc. I have bought a solar repellant which makes a high pitch noise, I haven't tried this yet but can get this going and do a video on it to see if it's any good. I did see a video on filling a water bottle up and placing it in the borders, people also sprinkle paprika. I never used to have the problem when we had our dog. When I remove weeds now I pat the earth down hard so they can't dig it up. It's a problem which I'm still experimenting with, I could try all the methods and make a video.

Thank you Carol. We were so lucky to go on a nice day if not a bit windy. It was so nice to see all the bees, I could hold the sunflowers and they would just carry on collecting pollen.

What a wonderful video! I enjoy sunflowers. There is a local ice cream place not too far from me that has a huge sunflower field across the street, very cool place but all too popular and often crowded, so I just enjoy a drive by lol. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks Dave, it was lovely to see so many bees on the sunflowers, it was very busy, so tricky to film around people. I hope you noticed Mr Time Sausages it was nice for us all to get out. I recommend visiting sunflower fields very relaxing.

Sunflowers! ❤ 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻 In so many different colors. And all the other beautiful flowers. Thanks again for taking us with you. And hello smaller chipolatas. 😁 Nice to them so much in this video. Looks like they had fun too. And they got some sunflowers. 😊

Thank you, the Chipolatas had a great day and you can even spot Mr Time Sausage's waving with them in the pan across the big sunflower field. They had seeds as well for completing the wooden animal trail but we did get a bit sunburnt.

It is nice and cool under the trees on hot sunny days. We are the same always looking for somewhere different to take the kids, we went to pontarddulais garden centre afterwards, I have filmed this and hopefully I will edit it soon. They had a lovely pond, and you can feed the ducks really good value for a big bag of food. They also had ducklings this time of year. They really enjoyed it.
