I love how you are secure and can call another man a heart throb
Ain't nothing wrong with admitting he's a beautiful man lol
Good video, and yes General Hospital is TV purgatory.
Those poor, trapped souls
I forgot about this movie, I used to enjoy it so much!
If you forgot about this one, just wait til Monday :P
This is one of those pieces of media that I feel I made up in my mind and then out the blue it shows up everywhere. Good video.
Funny enough, that's how I feel every time someone brings up Smart House lmao
I miss disney channel originals. They were definitely movies. I used to love these :)
As insane as they are, I love them too lol I've got 1 or 2 more coming
Love this movie
You should have left the glitter on for the review lol
Lmao if it had been feasible, I would have. But my desk setup is literally inside of a closet, so it gets pretty hot pretty quickly, so keeping that on for all of the cam clips would have made me look more gross than I already am
@@endcredit oh that would have been uncomfortable for sure I feel it haha
OMG I LOVE St Trinians It's just pure insanity in a movie but so fun
I know, it's exactly up my alley! I'm contemplating doing the sequel in the near future
Welp... I'm off to rewatch St Trinians
Lmao! The intro. How long did it take you to get that glitter off? 😂
Lmao fortunately, it was a gel based glitter, so it took less than 5 minutes to get it off my face and chest. Although, if you watch in HD quality, you'll see there was still a small bit in my hair, sooo.
Wonderful analysis! Thanks for this!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Double reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelease
I had to! For America!
Another of Mel Gibson's re-writings of history , In this one he would have us believe that black men in 18th century South Carolina were freely fighting for independence. Also that one man and two children could wipe out an entire company of the British army and that the British carried out atrocities like those usually attributed to the Waffen SS ! One can only guess that Gibson got his anti-English prejudice as well as his anti-semitism while in Australia, the only other country outside South Africa to have espoused Apartheid. Never one to let facts to get in the way of a good yarn ,old Mel goes from the sublime to the ridiculous as he does with his other "Historical" fantasies !
Yeah lmao all of his films really play with historical facts, but outside of that, they are still entertaining to sit through
Those vampire brides were having a great time making this movie
Love the 6 degrees of Muppets
Kingdom fucking sucked :(
My main problem with x-3 is California. In first 2 films, they say their school is at upstate ny but in x-3, it’s suddenly at Bay Area California
The didn't move the school, they just flew to SF
Nightcrawlers scene n the White House is still fire
When Halle Berry ran off n those black leathers n X-Men 1 😍
Youd best not disrespect the man who gave us Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
You're right, how dare I?
Mystique breaking into the Stryker base is also iconic.
Yeah fair point, she was making pro gamer moves
Thank you being so kind all mighty all knowing loving help me and these people to better understand you amen
Thank YOU, random citizen!
Great vid man and X2 is the best 👌
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it (:
When you said we wouldn’t see an event that would affect the entire population of earth after X2 until Infinity war, did you forget about days of future past and the impact the sentinels of the future had on both the mutant and human population. I’m pretty sure the events of days of future past could be considered a Thanos level threat.
You do make a point, they should be a greater threat. My issue is that we got so little time with the sentinels and they just killed the same characters over again. Also, that timeline got wiped, so it technically doesn't count.
Look , Ray being in Casper was a joke and nothing more 😒
It's mostly a joke I threw in. But also, if the damn comics and films can exist in a crossover Multiverse thing, then why couldn't this also be canon?
I WAS GONNA TALK ABOUT HOW IT ISNT HANCOCK STARRING WILL SMITH BUT PLANET OF THE APES 10/10
10/10 great episode
Lets gooooo
Only the hottest and freshest content for you
The movies are very hit or miss. It feels more like Wolverine and Friends and not the X-Men.
I definitely agree we spent way too much time on Logan. I'm hoping the future live action material will give more breathing room for the rest of the team.
Cyclops needs more recognition. The way he got tossed to the side in the movies never sat right with me lol
X-2 is only beaten by Spawn to be the worst comic book movie ever due to it being nothing close to it's source material. graphic novel God Loves, Man kills is X-2's source material. Read that and tell me you still like X-2. They ruined my favorite story from X-Men when they made X-2. Stryker didn't have any kids because he killed his wife and kid in that graphic novel. Stryker had nothing to do with how Wolverine was made either. God loves, Man kills made me a X-Men fan.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I know that they changed Stryker's origin and relation to things, but I think it served the overall story very well. It brought multiple characters together and allowed them to have some good character growth. Altering source material can work so long as you stay true to the narrative that you're looking to convey.
16:57 not literally. Mystique injected him with some liquid iron and thats what hes extracting. But you're on point with everything else in the video. Well said
I know she injected him, but I'm moreso speaking to the sheer brutality of how he uses his powers, as opposed to anything else we've seen him do in this trilogy. He wouldn't do something that horrible until the coin trick in First Class
I don’t think the young Jean scene could’ve been a blue print for the young Tom Riddle scene in Harry Potter because I’m pretty sure half blood prince’s book predates the release of Last Stand by a couple years
I was moreso comparing how each of the films scenes were shot, seeing as Last Stand came out before Half Blood in theaters
@@endcredit fair enough. I do think half blood was just imitating the dialogue in the book, but maybe there is some influence
Maybe be a little less whiny in your reviews?
What did you consider to be me whining?
@@endcredit Your contentions with the use of the characters. Once the filmmaker/screenwriter established that the purpose of the original trilogy was to humanize the mutants and illustrate their parallels with marginalized groups, there was no sense in harping on the fact that their super powers weren't on display as much as you, as a comic fan would've liked. It was whiny and kinda silly. That's not the direction they took, so what?
I don't think it's unfair to say that a group of super-powered people should have used said powers more. The current 97 proves you can do both so I don't personally see why these films couldn't. Again, I love these films overall, I just wanted to voice what small criticisms I had.
X2 and days of future past was the best
X2 is the best film from the trilogy BY FAR
"- Oh no! Politics in my media! - Air you're breathing is politics, r3tard."
1. X2: X-Men United 2. Logan 3. X-Men: Days of Future Past 4. Deadpool 5. X-Men: First Class 6. Deadpool 2 7. X-Men 8. The Wolverine 9. X-Men: Apocalypse 10. The New Mutants 11. X-Men: The Last Stand 12. X-Men Origins: Wolverine 13. Dark Phoenix
Shoutouts to David Hayter
In regard to separating the art from the artist: none of the movies made by Bryan Singer are good enough to overcome the horrendous crimes he is accused of. He’s not, for instance, a Roman Polanski level talent. Also all of the positive messaging in the X-Men movies are tainted by his involvement. I will not ever watch any of his movies again.
I can definitely respect that. I know he's gross but I never thought it was fair to cast and crew to have their ward work not seen
In X3 after Magneto is injected with the cure at the end it seems like his powers are coming back l read the book and it was saying that the cure was an experimental vaccine that was made by the Kree l love your videos thank you 😊
Thank you so much
I'm glad you enjoyed the episode!
The only really good thing about X-3 is Halle Berry's haircut. X2 is such a wonderful film, and the first one is pretty good too.
Lmao that's a wild take but I respect it
If I want to watch a proper adaptation of both parts of the Phoenix Saga, I will watch the third season of the X-men animated series
The X-men movies aren’t the MCU. They are Fox Marvel. There is a difference.
Not now that it's a multiverse lol
@@endcrediti hate multiverse because the story become more confussional following them 😵💫😵💫🤯🤯
It wasn’t the natural iron Iron in his bloodstream Magneto rips out. Mystique injected real Iron in him. That is what Magneto rips out of him.
The movies don’t mention that Mystique is Nightcrawler’s mother yet she and Kurt both appear in X2 and that terrible X-men Apocalypse prequel. I hate how Apocalypse is done in that movie. Terrible movie.
You sound like someone who has never read the comics or watched the animated series. I have read the comics and loved the series. I like the movies but half characters are done wrong. Rogue feels more like Jubilee since she and Wolverine are the eyes of the audience in the in the story.
Mystique is one of the best villains in the original trilogy. I hated it when she loses her abilities in X3. I met the actress at comic con. I got her autograph
Lucky! I've worked a lot of conventions over the years and I've never gotten to meet any of the XMen cast
@@endcredit I met Famke as well at comic con.
