Short Glassblowing Documentary | Canon C70 RAW LT
Просмотров 1717 месяцев назад
I filmed this short video for the Ottawa Glassblowing Co-op. Filmed on the Canon C70 with RAW LT using a Sigma 35mm 1.4 (56mm Equivalent), Sigma 18-35mm 1.8, and Helios 44-2 58mm with wide lens adaptor (47mm Equivalent). I used the oven as my main light source and that naturally inspired an orange and teal look. I wanted the glow of the oven and glass to be as rich on camera as it was in person...

How I Filmed This Music Video: From Pre-Production to Editing
Dude, i downloaded the nods, they came in two files, I need a tutorial. Where can i get that? Your expectation in the video is too fast and the screenshots not clear. I can't see the top of the software. 😊
Hey Troy, both files will work and are the same colour grade just in different file types. I tried to pack a lot of info in under 2 minutes 😅 so if you're are just starting out I recommend checking out the other videos in the description. Those videos will break down the colour space set up settings and the node tree in depth. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Amazing work David Sklubal 🥳
Thank you!
Very cool!
Hope it helps! 😁
You're an angel. Just fixed my problem after a few hours of thinking I was for sure gonna have to send it in.
Happy to hear Jeremy! Canon told me to send it in for 4 weeks with no replacement camera, so I went through every trick I could think of and this worked
Worked for me too, cheers
Awesome, glad I could help!
That flame thrower though! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Haha Thank you!
BRUHHH this is awesome
Thank you so much 🔥🙏
@@davidsklubaldid you shoot all this?
Beautiful work!
Hey, I'm really new to videography, I guess I can't find the part where you tell us the name of this adapter, Can you help me out?
Hi ViolenDarkstalker, no problem the name of the adapter has changed so that probably added some confusion. It's now called the Hisewen 58MM 0.43x Professional HD Canon Wide Angle Lens, it can be found on amazon. Hope that helps!
Question: If you pair this exact combo with a Speedbooster and achieve even greater results or am I thinking too much?
Hi DavinciHD_, great question! The 0.71x Canon Mount Adapter is a speed booster so you will get the 25mm result shown in the video plus an extra stop of light as well. Hope that helps!
Awesome work!
Thank you!
Great video!!
Thanks for watching! :)
Great video. But it seems to me, that the adapter introduces a lot of light leaking in from the side, wich lifts the shaddows up and makes the image washed out and almost unusable. Maybe it was just the angle tho. The Helios is such a cool lens... wish there were more wide angle lenses with the same characteristics.
Thanks for watching Jason! Yes definitely a lens / look that I only use for clients looking for a unique / vintage look. The 'professional' version of a helios is a Petzval Lens, haven't had the budget yet to try one but worth checking out your regional rental house, hope that helps! ✌
never heard of it. but i surely gonna be checking it out. 🙂 @@davidsklubal
this worked for me, thanks
Great to hear!
rubber man shouldnt have made me laugh that hard 😹
Super cool ! I have an olympus WCON-07 0.7x but it's ultra blurry and without any sharpness. An idea ? THANKS
Haven't used that adaptor before, but if its giving you trouble I would try the Altura I am using. With a step up ring you can use it with pretty much any lens. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
@@davidsklubal OK. Between the helios and the reducer do you put something?
Awesome Video🎉
Was such a pleasure to work with you ! Loved the final result
Same here Danick! Can't wait for the next one!🔥
This is awesome! What a beautiful video
Thanks so much for watching Stef! I appreciate the support 🙌
