My doctor's surgery started this online booking rubbish a while ago and I have not been able to contact my GP since. Anything not requiring making an appointment at the surgery has carried on smoothly. This new system has been a total disaster in my case.

Can't get an appointment now and all of the doctors and a senior nurse in my practice retired last year so don't know any of the doctors and they don't know me. Use of telephone consultations has increased how can a GP diagnose what the problem is by phone. My sister was prescribed the wrong antibiotics and then two to take at same time no face to face just phone calls, she has since got a call to say she was being referred to a urologist . Doesn't give you confidence.

If anyone believes even a fraction of this, they need to see an AI Consultant - a robot!! From root to top the NHS is damaged goods unfit for purpose. The only staff that are worth anything are the experienced nurses, their equally experienced "greenies" and the paramedics, all of whom are always under pressure, yet generally are on the ball. When it comes to Ward Sisters, most of those that I've seen have little to no contact with their patients, and in general have little idea of what's going on in their wards. Today's doctors are probably the worst I've ever had the misfortune to come under; during a recent three-week stay, I was not given any more than a routine stethoscope examination, and that was only once. I had a visit from an extremely rude and arrogant Asian doctor who had as much interest in me and my condition as he had with the dust under the bed! His very first words to me where "I'm one of the doctors here, and in my opinion you are ready for discharge as medically we can do nothing for you!" I was unable to stand or walk through lack of breath; he had neither ever seen me nor examined me, and didn't much care one way or another. In the three weeks I was there, the Ward Sister had never visited or approached me for any reason, and when she did finally make an appearance it was just to say "You're for home tomorrow!" Throughout my stay I had to be taken to the bathroom and returned by a nurse, for I couldn't manage on my own. Not once did I get a hot dinner, the food was alwayd cold and whether it was dinner or desert, it was all tainted with the same diesel taste and smell. I was given a treatment which caused unwanted bowel movement and as a result soiled the trousers I had been wearing for most of my stay - but not once was I washed in all that time, and my trousers had had to dry in the wearing. Question: How will any of these so-called changes benefit me or those like me? The NHS as I knew it 40 years ago no longer exists - and I havent' even touched the subject of foreign nurses and ancillary staff who can barely speak more than a few words of English. I haven't touched on the GP's surgery where I haven't seen my own doctor for years, and as for my two different consultants, I've not seen either of them for up to three years - they just don't care. I have three or four different organisations paid to attend to me, but I'm told that I am capable of doing everything by myself (quite untrue generally), and are not allowed to do anything beyond that personal care, although one or two of them did offer to make me a cup of tea! So much for Care In The Home! I know that if I had a pet dog, it would get better treatment from a vet than I get from the NHS.

Had ct last March then mri should have had a another ct 3 months after but didnt get one u til 8 months later this was in 2024 havent seen a doctor about the results so its getting on for a year now you dont get any follow-up also had mri on neck and back last September still no results so fed up with doctors and it would be nice to be able to see a gp about more than one thing at a long a waited appointment
