My Fav low light plant is the Njoy potthos....She seems to be keeping her (Extreme) wihite varigation well under low light... same light that is turning my white Antherium green... and my peace lily green as well. Its an interesting thing I thought Id share. :) Bless.

Pst... Look wayyy in the back of the rack in the big box stores plant shelves. You'll find some amazing things back there. Really wont find much in the front of the racks. lol..... dont tell anybody lol

I just got one from Costa Farms in the mail. They are quite expensive but it's gorgeous already. There were a few broken stems, so I dipped them in rooting hormone and jabbed them back into the soil. I'm hoping that they'll take that way. It's still a bit small but will be beautiful when it fills out. They call it the 'green galaxy' which is a marketing gimmick, but based on that, I named her Andromeda.

LoL, I paid € 7,85 Be aware they are prone to attract lice. I use 3 spoons dish soap ( brand: EU is Dreft, US is called Fairy? ) and 2 spoons light olive oil filled with water, mix well in a spray bottle. Soak the plant thorough all over and wash/rinse it well. Remove the top soil so no lice can crawl back. You need to this 2 or 3 times in a week to get rid of the lice. Keep them out of the sun for 2 weeks after treatment.

Very nice! The actual name is Philodendron opacum 'Green Goddess' and they are not a Monstera. Per Key Gardens, the world's authority on tropical plant names, Monstera karstenianum is a nomen nudum or invalid name in any case. There are three different Monstera called "Peru" and that is just a provenance name, not a cultivar name.

I just found this video and I am a proud owner of one of these and so far I have noticed that it is a very easy plant I just repotted it and removed all of the soil it was in and it hasn’t shown any signs of stress at all I can’t wait to see what it will do in the next couple of months

You have a syngonium confetti....not a milk confetti. What you have is not as rare as the syngonium milk confetti. The milk confetti has a light, creamy mint green colored leaf

Mine does well in the east window,brown leafs overly potted ,over wet soil 😢😮

Would only not when leafs droop,not a good idea,water when soil is almost dry.she gave wrong info.any humidity try window to see if thats ok?

Wow. I got my full plant for 15 bucks at Lowes. I always forget that a lot of these costa farms plants wouldn’t be out there much otherwise.

Do you think monstera Peru would like growing up a moss pole to encourage larger more mature leaves?

I put my cuttings in sphagnum moss, and all it's doing is growing new leaves. . . . LEAVES. It has not sprouted new roots at all. So frustrating. How did you get roots in your moss grow?

this is a regular confetti. not milk. the milk confetti leaves are a more matte white color. this is just a regular confetti. there IS a difference.

Lets be real standleyana is easy to grow but a pain to propagate, most of my friends have the same experience as I do with this plant. I still have cutting that sit in water for 7 months now and there is no roots, multiple different cuttings tend to do that, if the cutting is older there in 0 chance to root it. There is a 50/50 chance with fresh aerial root. Its the truth and Its not only my experience with this plant, 5 other people said to me they had the same problems. Its one of the hardest monsteras to root.

I got my monstera peru for 12,60 euros and I found a cebu blue pothos for 9 euros. Prices have come down very much! I live in Greece btw. Very helpful video! Cheers!
