What happen to the Polaris 400 ?

I just picked up a Super Comango AV. It's got the full antivibe setup, getting and back, unlike most of them that only have it on the rear handle. Unfortunately the piston looks badly scored through the exhaust port. I bought six saws from a guy, and I've already fixed the two Homelites, but the Super Comango is the one i really wanted to get going. Yours sounds mean 👍

I actually have one of these saws. I cleaned it out of my grandpa's workshop after he died. It is in much better shape than that one. I got it running about 25 years ago. It hasn't run since. Now it's just a conversation piece in my man cave. Thanks for doing this video. It's so cool to see someone bring these old relics back to life.

Buddy I’ve got a mates saw witch is the same model . Hadn’t been used for a while . It wouldn’t start I’ve drained the fuel , had the air cleaner off and cleaned it all out . Refilled with fresh fuel Still won’t start . Checked the spark plug , found to be wet . Checked for spark , has spark but not sure if it’s strong enough. Removed the pull cord and checked the coil and pickup , found the reluctor magnet rusted and so was the coil pickups , cleaned and reset the gap . Tried again still no start . Still has spark , replaced the spark plug and still no start . Plug is wet . Do these things suffer ignition issues ? ??

Why didn't you just pull that oil pump out before heating and risk burning an o-ring and crank seal?

Do you have a coil number? Most coils being advertised, shows 1 wire, not 2 As on the original

I have the same saw it was in te shop for a new primer bulb and pull rope spent three months there they said it had and carb changed it and it still wouldn't run finally I picked it up anyway got it home ...bad fuel line had it running in 10 minutes
