@1:05 Kiefer response on storm water issues blames OWP “overdevelopment” on creating more impervious surface, hence more runoff. Typical NIMBY trope and it doesn’t acknowledge that underutilized surface parking is being repurposed. The developer has many stormwater best management practices built in to the plan.

I got 2 complaints today by idling in my own garahe which is in my property. Not revving or anything. Just idling cause I had the baby with the nanny inside and while we drop some things off, we were going to leave. Approx time 5-7min. Then came the neighbour from the opposite side and complained like hell. We got into a verbal dispute which he spew out some condescending and discriminative words while I retaliated with "fuck you" and middle finger. Yeah I know pretty matured of me. But I lost my cool there for a bit.

This is what I love about Westfield. One of the few towns left in America where they get together and make things happen. Not only that, there is a huge sense of community and pride. It should be the blueprint of every city in America.

Westfield is by far my favorite town in the world. My aunt and uncle used to live there, the Luckenbaughs, and I used to go out and visit every summer and I absolutely love that town. It still has the most incredible feel. I took my wife up about two or three years ago and showed her the town and where my aunt and uncle lived. I couldn’t believe I remembered the street, because I had not been up there since I was probably 13 or 14 years old.. Kind of old school, with a modern tinge to it. I would do anything to live up there. In any case, John couldn’t have moved to a better town. It is very relaxed and pretty there. And it’s a hop, skip and jump from New York, which you can just catch the subway right down the street. Maybe one day I’ll join him there.

I lived in Westfield, NJ back in the 60s & 70s from 1963-1974 in the mansion next door to 411 Elm St at 421 Elm St, the Red Room in it was haunted by the original owner who shot himself therein in October 1929 when Wall St fell. It was ALWAYS iceberg cold in there even in the summertimes.
