It's really helpful ☺️❤
Thank you ❤
You are just so amazing. This is Incoterms made easy
how would you go about if you would want to ship a parcel 100X60X60cm with 25kg from switzerland to maldives, I got some offers but they were about 700 up to 1'000 Euros from DHL and UPS isn't there a cheaper way?
Brilliant!
Thanks for this video 😥❤
Great video series and a lot of information, thank you for posting.
Is it safe to assume stackability unless told otherwise?
You need to look at the height to determine stackability. The dims are always listed as L x W x H. To determine height, you look at the last dim given. In a 20ft and 40ft, the max height of the container is 90in. For a 40ft HQ, the max height is 102in. Looking at a standard 20ft or 40ft, if you have cargo that is 45in high, it can be double stacked. If you have cargo that is 10in in height, it can be stacked nine high. If you have cargo that is 75in in height, it cannot be stacked. Hope this helps.
This video made it so easy to clairify the process of calculating the freight Rate Charge
Oh my goodness! You explained it so simple. Giving example makes easy to understand. Thanks Melissa! *teary-eyed*
There's one question though that I got confused on what material was given to us. The answer for this question is C. CPT Vancouver, B.C, Incoterms 2020, but why not DDP? S.R Imports wants the goods delivered to Kelowna, B.C. where they will assume risk for the goods. All customs, duties and taxes to be paid by the seller. Select one answer. You are employed by S.R. Imports Ltd., Kelowna, B.C. Your company is interested in importing waterproof clothing and umbrellas from Wet Works Inc., Tokyo, Japan. Routing instructions: . The goods are to be shipped from Wet Works Inc. by H.K. Trucking, to Tokyo, Narita Airport (NRT), Japan, loaded onto a Japan Airlines flight to Los Angeles (LAX), USA. . From LAX, the goods will be flown to Vancouver (VR) on a connecting flight. . From YVR, DB Trucking will deliver the goods to Kelowna, B.C. A) DDP Kelowna, B.C., S.R. Imports Ltd., Incoterms® 2020 B) CIP Vancouver, B.C., Incoterms® 2020 C) CPT Vancouver, B.C., Incoterms® 2020 D) DAP Kelowna, B.C., S.R. Imports Ltd., Incoterms® 2020
Hi Sarah, I would say this is DDP as well. As the buyer is asking the seller to pay the customs duties and taxes. Perhaps this is a typo? Kind Regards, Melissa
