lets talk plain there was nothing around the burrell collection to film. so here is the building lol. and yes i even upload my mistakes to learn from them in the future. nothing will make you correct a mistake faster than showing it to everyone online.

Great drone footage of this stunning building. Its a shame to see it being taken over by nature. You did a great job captureing it my friend 👍👍😁
thx man

Brilliant work mate loved the view of the canal and the mix of house types also,,,,and a love looking into other folks gardens..am pure nosey lol
Not that bad anymore in the 200s u could see neds gangs dogs kids rubbish
Smashing footage. 👍
what drone is it you use? these look sick
dji AIR 3
Nice flight buddy 😊👍👍
Great video, such happy memories from playing there.
Very cool 😁👍
ty
Wow ! Fantastic aerial vision, I don't think I really appreciated the size of land footprint that Ruchill Hospital had 😮
Its on my ' to do list ' never actually been in the Necropolis , just marvel at the stone work / masonry on these old grave stone, fascinating that some are 200 years old and more ,plus of course they say that the graves were responsible for the ' black plague ' in Glasgow as the heavy rain seeped into the Molindinar River / Burn which folks used for drinking water etc and the diseases from the rotting corpes carried contamination 😢
Greetings. Lovely show.
Spotless too.
Lovely place. Nice photography and great music. Nice!!!!
Fantastic film footage, really very clear and easy to identify the areas we are familiar with . Strange how accurate the builders are when building , roads , houses, industrial buildings etc straight roads, lovely curves, houses basically all in a nice line 👍
yeah i dont have there skills i wish i did my friend is great at that stuff he lays roads when he talks about it, it goes right over my head lol
@@LittleCameraTour yes it's amazing how much we take for granted, drainage, sewage, street lights etc 👍
3:28 Balmore road/Ashgill road junction 😄I grew up in Milton (Ensay street and Ashgill road) in the 80s but we left in 1992. Nice to see how it looks these days, i see the sight of the old Glen Douglas pub is still an empty boarded off bit of spare ground to this day, wow. Great video mate 👍
cheerz buddie
Went To St Agnes's Catholic School in Lambhill In 1954, And It Was Like Country In Those Days, Untill They Built Cadder, And, It All Changed, ❤😊
Very nice video. 🎉
thanks alot
Absolutely brilliant as it’s where I grew up. So nice to see. I don’t remember it being so lush with such big trees and spare ground. Well done! 👏
i prefer to fly over housing schemes because those places change every 10 years compared to somewere like bearsden which will stand the test of time. you see in most schemes just random green space with a road around thats just old house's they demolished and dont have the money to build more. same thing in easterhouse milton and maryhill. its sad my old house is one of them 😑
@@LittleCameraTour some of the housing was dreadful though! Lambhill was quite nice albeit very small but the tenements in liddesdale Road were not so nice. Glad to see they’ve gone but replaced by really good accommodations
Thanks for the vid but a piece inside me keeps saying remember there was a park just off almond road, he horses which ran freely on Fernlea, the BB ball across from the church and beside the school, the Porsche garage at the station. There may be a bigger change if they move the school down beside the library.
Wow, what a find this was. My old neighbourhood from the age of 5 until I left home. My old primary school, demolished & rebuilt where the old red blaes football pitch used to be. Bearsden Academy demolished & rebuilt on the old St Andrews College. The hill that I used to fly my kite on behind Shaw Hospital, not covered in houses. Great shots of Stirling Drive, Whitehurst, Iain Road, Milvertone Avenue & I even picked out my first home, 2 Laurence Drive. Great bit of filming, you should go back again & cover more of Bearsden as this upload only really covered Mosshead, Castlehill, Bonnaughton. Thank you, that brought back a lot of memories :)
the biggest issue you have with flying a drone is a safe take off and landing you cant do that on a street corner i need a green space. and from that green space i am limited in the distance of travel. so if i dont have some were to take off and land i cant take off and land 😉
@@LittleCameraTour I understand. I moved to Bearsden in 1970 & back then Hungry Hill was exactly just that, a hill. Now it's covered in houses & the same goes for the land that Shaw Hospital looks down on. The hill north of the new Bearsden Academy was a wood. Basically if you drop a hankie in Bearsden someone will build on it. The only green spaces that are left are the golf courses & I'm surprised that Bearsden Golf Club has managed to survive. I would have put money on that land becoming an extension of Castlehill.
Those views bring back old memories. Lived and worked around that area for years.👌👍
Great film footage of a local team, excellent , identifying Queen's Cross and its surrounding 👍
you gotta support the underdogs davie 👍
@@LittleCameraTour ❤️
Brilliant flight and footage. Add a new subscriber
Excellent film footage , great to track the areas you know and identify the locations, canal route ,roads etc 👍
yeah thats basically how i do it lol 👍
Brilliant flight mate you got the weather eh?
aye it wasnt to bad. just a wee dog walk with the daughter need to take her for lunch as its her bday today
Fantastic aerial vision 👍 what's not to love , what fascinates me is the amount of industry that this area had and was able to achieve , and it saddens me that our ' education system ' does not promote this history to our children , Glasgow was better known worldwide at one time than Microsoft, etc 😢
Great video coverage of the building, Glasgow has some beautiful parks 👍
yes they do m8
Cracking work again mate
thx bro
My first job leaving school was working in galbriaths in western rd..i believe. I am 70 now.however it was great i came from temple. Cycle there under the canal at the station or along the bearsden rd turn left onto western rd at doshome park many many. Years ago .i loved it.thank you for the memories.my friend.x
im 50 and getting very centimental lol
Really good, thanks.
yvw
Nice one again mate weather been a bit kinder lately
@johnnymac26 yeah m8 I had to drop altitude a few times with strong wind warning ⚠️ . Tuesday Wednesday Thurs should be OK 👍
@@LittleCameraTour aye im gonna attempt a wee flight after work
You can pick up some easier recognised land marks, railway lines and the canal etc and take it from there, great film coverage , considering everyone's privacy 👍
@@davidcraig4543 ty David 😊
brilliant mate made me look at this area and saw a house for sale 2.5 million!!!!
😂yh there no cheap bro lol
tota class mate i love urban and country views
Excellent film footage as always, actually quite hard sometimes to identify exact locations, plus what kind of stood out for me is the lack of actual road traffic, I would have imagined most households would be two cars, but that's not obvious in the filming ,.
yeah looking down can be disorienting from the drone. well driving passed the cross today took me about 20 mins to get threw so many peeps were on the move prolly why there werent as many cars
Brilliant video. Well done!
@@johnmacleod5775 thx man
Great video coverage, showing how prosperous Glasgow City Centre was 100-125 years ago, some of those buildings are absolutely stunning, sadly Glasgow has demolished a lot of the older buildings which could easily have rivalled Edinburgh 😅 not to mention the pioneering transport systems , trams, underground, electric buses , plus glass milk bottles and daily shopping bags, which lasted for ever ❤
yeah its also funny that alot of class A buidlings if derilict end up on fire. and a year later theres a new car park lol
@@LittleCameraTour oh so true , best way to speed up the demolition permission 😭, apply for ' students accommodation ' and your on a winner.
Wow ! What fantastic aerial video footage, again a great test of our knowledge to trace the areas covered, this must be the view out feathered friends enjoy. Keep up the good work 👍
ty and i will endeavor to do so 🙂
this still makes me laugh lol
Left in 1969 looks so much different. We lived on Auchingill road not far from Bishop Loch
@jocase6956 aye it's changed a wee bit since 69
Fantastic film footage , personally I always have mixed emotions viewing such beautiful buildings not just being allowed to fall into dilapidated conditions but encouraged to do so 💔 in particular ones owned by the NHS , these Victorian Buildings are stunning 👍
Easterhouse looks so good
Fantastic seeing local aerial film footage of local areas 👍
Very good footage, this will be terrific in fifty years to look back on. Not me I'll be long gone, but I wish we had such good pictures from each decade since the war, it would be fascinating to see the changes.
you hit the nail on the head buddie. its the reason i decided to do it the more of glasgow i can do the better
Is that today?
yes about 12 oclock
20 mins before the rain started lol
@@LittleCameraTour I noticed as I seen where my car was parked haha
@@MSizeProductions lol elementary my dear watson 😉
Probably an ignorant question ? But can you see on the ground via a monitor or similar, where and what you are seeing from the drone ? Great footage though , always fancied a ' microlight aircraft ' however I fear they could be dangerous 😢
Wow ! Fantastic film footage , just love trying to identify areas , streets etc
