Cool tech but maybe it`s movement might be better if you add some gyros
It has 5 of the biggest ones and like 3 medium sized ones. I might be over exaggerating, but still. Could add more
When I acquire a spawner for a mob farm, I tend to add a comparator, wool, chorus fruit, dragon egg/soul lantern, and reduce the min delay with sugar and sometimes clocks for max delay. The enderio spawners in that huge list and the ones from Pneumaticraft aren't as flexible as the vanilla+apotheosis variants. So focus on the apotheosis variants that require silk touch or a cardboard box. The spawner scrap needed to upgrade the forge in Forbidden and Arcanus can be collected from "junk" spawners being broken with a pickaxe (without silk touch, of course). Of special note are the evoker fang spawners in some caves. They are the best spawners to find as the min and max spawn delays are minimal already. You will be able to change the mob in the spawner with a spawn egg. The capturing enchantment, once applied to your sword, will be great for acquiring the spawn eggs. The spawner modifications that include the nether quartz in the offhand, are for inverted adjustments of the same type. You'd use this to reduce spawn range, for example, to fit the radius of your mob farm if the spawner radius is too big. Redstone link (from create) is my method of turning my mob farms off/on wirelessly. Remote lever from cyclic seems to be similar in function with just a vanilla lever and the device (OMG this thing is cheap). Additional note: redstone carries through spawners, so a lever or link on a side will pass through signal to adjacent spawners. This means the 5 other sides of the central spawner can activate connected spawners at the same time. A room with a 9x9x9 space inside (11x11x11 externally) will handle them without spawning mobs outside the box. Spawn radius should be verified to be 4 on these guys. Apotheosis enchanting will be your best route to acquire some really high powered enchantments and is well worth your time to get setup. Silk touch a HUGE stack of bookshelves in preparation for this! The advanced enchanting infuser coupled with this setup will allow you to choose the enchantments you add. You asked how to make a "soul vial", though this isn't the use case you want them for, you'll want them for making various enderio items in the future: make the empty soul vial, place it in your main hand and right click the target mob or villager. Boom. Done! To make grains of infinity, take a flint and steel to bedrock and light the bedrock on fire. When the flames die, there's a chance to spawn the grains. In the future, consider turning on subtitles as they pop up with a direction (if not directly in front or behind you) to help you find the source of a sound. The sound muffler is worth learning to shut off distracting noises. Make and open those loot bags!!! There are pressies to be claimed. As for building with gaps: I don't think it's worth the effort as wireless options exist in the modpack for power, fluids, items, etc. Though, having specific layers of ceiling and flooring will make adjacent floors not have unsightly piping peeking through. A 1 block tall gap can still spawn spiders if there's a 3x3 space available. So, back to bedrock level stuff, and once you have redstone being generated in quantity, you can begin wireless power with the Flux Networks mod. Step one is to get yourself at least 24 stacks of redstone dust. 8 stacks can be converted to flux dust in a single go (consuming a single piece of obsidian in the process as it gets turned into cobblestone). The JEI for flux dust is rather unique. The basics are expose bedrock (corners are great for this exercise), throw down 8 stacks of redstone onto the single corner block. Place a piece of obsidian over it (1-block gap only). Then left-click (punch) the obsidian. It smashes the redstone into an equivalent amount of flux dust. I recall doing this process twice in my playthroughs (48 stacks). The flux points and plugs you'll use to connect generators and machines require the stuff. Light level overlay can be toggled off/on with F7. Don't leave it on! Feral flare lantern places lights but can interfere with multiblock structures that include a gap in them. I tend to prefer these to mega torch as the mega torch can stop stuff from spawning. And to really let mobs know to keep away from me, I use an interdiction torch (or 3). I have avoided commenting on your storage setup as I feel you need some more basic resources to get started. There are these mods available in this pack that i recognize: ars nouveau, tom's simple storage, integrated, pretty pipes, occultism, refined storage and ae2 storage (with 726 mods, i have likely missed some options. lol). While tom's or ars may help out for now, they don't offer advanced auto-crafting which is crucial if you want progress before you turn 100 years old. I use occultism for early storage as I can connect it via a storage bus to ae2 or refined storage once I get around to setting that up (and it's the same basic rituals for making marid crushers (that'd be the 6x ore multiplier)). For auto-crafting, I can only recommend ae2. While refined storage is nice and considered by many to be simpler, it doesn't offer the simplicity of ae2 in many modded device setups. The AE2 extension mods in this pack are amazing.
This is a lot to take in...
The snorkel method is an advanced technique used only by the most experienced trailmaker players.
Once I made the base more stable nothing could stop me
It's soo good 👍
If it ain't broke don't fix it
I'm not sure why you couldn't find "cobble gen tier 3". Perhaps you typed cobblestone and missed it. Apologies. I'm actually surprised you haven't acquired one from loot bags yet. I tend to end up with lots of them as I progress through LL modpacks which include the Cobble For Days mod. Staff of Riches from Nature's Aura can help adventurers find chests quickly. When setting up spaces that will include storage systems you want access to while not in the area, you'll want to turn on chunk borders CTRL+G and make that space within a single chunk. Walls can be outside the chunk since they aren't part of the system. Later, you can force load the chunk via FTB's chunk utility.
Maybe I didn't look hard enough. I will try next time as well and as always, thank you for the tips.
good luck on your channel
Thanks
For a cobblestone generator, look at the 'cobble gen tier 3' option. After placing the cobble gen, stick a container on top to auto collect the blocks. No hopper or item collector necessary. I highly recommend a compacting drawer for this one. Modpack Ver: 1.16.0 Are you going to update to the latest release? As for the Ars tower you were looking at, it's possible there's a chamber with a ton of ars related devices you'll want under the nexus thingy.
I was gonna make a vanilla one with the block breaker I made in combination with a vacuum hopper (since this one doesn't have inventory and drops the blocks) and a chest or a drawer. Probably will update the modpack, and I don't exactly remember the Ars tower or its location, but maybe I will loot it in the future.
Chunk loading is built in. M to open the (FTB) map. Then, C to open the claim map. The chunk must be claimed before it can be force loaded. Left-click the chunk then shift+left-click to force load. Undo is the same, but with the right mouse button. The golden pickaxe with purple letters will be useful for apotheosis style equipment upgrading. Keep it safe! Also, keep an eye open for more of those items. You'll want a barrel of them to smash for apotheosis resources. I tend to use gear with Luck attributes in the early game. Helps get better and more loot from chests. What was the item hopper for? Did you mean to say item collector? Not sure if you're looking for a magnet or item pickup function, but either way, there's an upgrade for your backpack that does each option. The horse was damaged by sweet berry bushes. Right click and hold the grave key you got to teleport to your grave. /back would also have teleported you back. From the slime page in the wiki: In swamps and mangrove swamps, slimes may spawn between the heights of 51 and 69 (inclusive) when the provided light level is 7 or less. They spawn most often on a full moon, and never on a new moon. While you're in the swamp, look around for a slime block sitting on the ground that's actually a slime bee nest. Grab it with the bee inside for easy transport. This dude could make you more slimeballs and uses any flower to pollenate. You never opened the map long enough for me to see if there's more of the swamp biome close by. But worth checking out. There's preserving your xp in something similar to the xp obelisk, and then there's the corail tombstone mod's ability that can be raised to preserve your xp on death, so it's never lost. That text from knowledge of death has a link you need to click to add your points to the various options. I always go for xp preservation levels first since my characters tend to die often. And it takes 5 levels, iirc, to reach 100% preservation. You likely have several points you need to spend. It is possible to set the Knowledge of Death screen to a hotkey. In most modpacks, the default hotkey is in conflict with something else, so review those options and make the hotkey something unique.
Paragraph 1: Ok Paragraph 2: OK and the vacuum hopper is because I want to make an automatic cobblestone generator Paragraph 3: I know For the rest: we have enough time to figure it out
Y is still the key to press when hovering an item to find the same item in chests. Slime balls: use the nature's compass to locate a swamp.
Good idea actually
Due to unforeseen circumstances the stream will be postponed until second notice Ps. Yt studio doesn't even allow me to make community posts
You'll want to "break" 8 spawners for their scrap (no silk touch). Scrap will be used in upgrading the forbidden and arcanus forge. You may want more scrap in the future for other items. The rest will be for mob farming purposes, so grab (with cardboard boxes or silk touch) witch, wither skeleton, blaze and any other mobs you want to have on tap.
I will try to get one for each type of creature I find. I will begin with spiders since there are so many of them it this dungeon, the rest I will break
You are waaaay too early game for lag issues. We should work on locating the issue when you have time to spare. The pack has Observable mod, but the key binding isn't set. There's only 1 key bind for that mod. It will highlight entities with green yellow and red colors. The red ones are the bad ones. Windows updates downloading in the background tend to cause me mysterious lag issues, too. There's a few methods available for redstone without resorting to mining. The bee route is what I'd use. Then there's the mystical agriculture seed in a botany pot option. A witch mob farm (requires a witch spawner). Later in the game when you have lots of extra power, there's the hostile neural networks option. When you mine the ore with silk touch, you can use enderio's sag mill or integrated dynamics squeezer for increased yields. Fortune is mighty important asap, so consider researching that for a tool (preferably with a gem slot). Adding a gem of the earth to the slot will increase the fortune level further. Mining gadget has an easy fortune 3 path, but it requires 18 blocks of lapis. The enchanter you got as a reward (from enderio), has an ability to make a fortune 3 book much cheaper: 1 book & quill, 3 emerald, 9 lapis and 27 levels. Those bundles you acquired hold up to 64 stackable items, and can be carried in a curio slot. If the item is of a type that has a stack max less than 64, it will take the appropriate number, ie: honey bottles stack to 16 max, so those will take up 4 slots each. These are great for those stackable drops you only get a couple of. Back to the ars nouveau hotkeys; z,x,c,v (by default). Check your key bindings as these are usually overlapping the iron's spells hotkeys. Quick select in ars is the fire key for Iron's. Use the luck helm when opening new chests!
Steam had decided to download the update for stalker 2 and that caused the lag. For the rest I will find the way and the time to do them
Liquid magma is not lava. It is the product of a cyclic machine (melting chamber) melting magma blocks. The moral of the story is: you still need a power source. A magma cube spawner could help with generating the resources you seek. I do recall trying to direct you to the more direct RF -> repairs via the Diamond Powered Anvil. But that costs diamonds you no longer have. Now here's the kicker, if you add into the mix a solidification chamber, you can make crystallized obsidian which is an awesome material for powerful early game armor and tools. Create provides a simple recipe for the slime it requires. Solar panels, various generators and wind mills are rewards available in those loot bundles. I don't recall if you've acquired anything that generates RF yet. If not, I'd suggest a windmill from Mekanism to get you started. Flux networks will be your best option for wireless and interdimensional energy. As for infinite lava, that's a create hose pulley setup in the nether dumping into an ender tank. Don't use those create pipes in the future. The requirement of rotational energy is super annoying. I think we need to discuss mystical agriculture and hopper botany pots since they're an easy combo that's going to get you automating basic resources. The mystical agriculture seeds you'll want asap are: dirt, water, and fire essences. I also depend heavily on wood essence so I can skip all the tree punching and sapling hunting. dirt + water = clay. dirt + fire = sand. You could also duplicate these resources with quarry bees. I look forward to the stream on 12/30!
Well I was close with this setup. The anvil needed more than just diamonds, that is why I decided to make the magma one. The main issue I have with making any machines is the lack of redstone. Thanks for the tip about the create pipes I was just unable to make any other type at the moment. I hope the stream goes well and I will be glad to see you there
Make and use the sawmill! The 50% extra planks is nice, but the free sawdust is used to make cardboard boxes. Those are how you quickly disable a spawner and take it with you without needing silk touch. There's a ton of uses for them. Moving obsidian before you have a diamond pickaxe, for example. I often use them on my ars ritual braziers to move a running ritual or shift industrial foregoing machines without losing their addons and contents. Use an item pipe out of the bottom of the sawmill into an inventory like a barrel or storage access point. If you don't, the output fills up after 10 logs. There are speed upgrades you can make later on. Since it doesn't take power, I love this thing early game. Press 'Y' over an item in JEI or your inventory to find it's match in a nearby inventory (Lootr chests excluded). To avoid typing into the search box, click your inventory. This moves the cursor out of the search box.
The house building will commence soon, so I will be making the sawmill
You can use projectile -> Dispel to unsummon the stead before the timer runs out. This would also have been useful against the backpack dude with the effects. One zap of dispel and he'd be much easier to take out.
He had armour, but I am currently working on unlocking more spells. This will be one of the first ones I unlock
Wow, I could never
Me neither
You should make a new bigger Tech with way more battery power. Recommendations 6 of the giant geocorp batteries that blow up in Word.
Hmm, tempting... Will it have guns?
i would recommend adding all of the terratech videos to a playlist. youtube made finding ep2 a pain since ur lower view count
I apologise. I have been meaning to do that
I did it. Now almost every series has a playlist
My scribe's table is notorious for stealing my stuff. I often find missing items just sitting there. lol. I'd like to recommend placing trapdoors around the nether portal to keep zombified piglins from getting loose. When you sneak on magma blocks (like when you need to refill oxygen underwater), you don't get the burning damage. Get the Ars spell Self->Dispel. It will remove all negative effects like withered / poison / etc. Projectile version on an enemy will strip a mob of any effects. In the fullscreen map (J), there's a diamond icon on the bottom left. It's the button you want to select or add waypoints. The blaze noise was from the lava squid, i think. They drop blaze powder, too. Can I just say how lucky you are to have ancient debris and a fortress right next to your portal!!! OMG! And that piglin really wanted you to have his diamond helmet. UtilitiX has an item called gilding crystal. Add it to a piece of armor in a smithing table for the piglin gold thing so they don't attack on sight. Much easier than wearing gold armor items that break when you look at a mob. Now, cardboard boxes. Keep a stack handy for disabling spawners. I was using cardboard boxes to move obsidian before I had a diamond tool in my current map. They can be super handy. And for the cost of just 4 sawdust, it's a cheap solution. At every jet pack stage, there's 11 coils, 5 become the energy cells. So, 11 sticks, 44 coil materials, 32 redstone, 2 furnaces, and 34 of the tier materials. The moral of this story is go get more redstone asap! (If only there was a bee that gave you an endless supply of the stuff.. oh wait, there is!) When using coal for charging your jetpack, make it into block form to get the bonus coal worth of burn time. A single coal is good for 8 items. A block of coal is good for 80 items. Projectile -> Harm -> Item pickup and never worry about losing the mob drops on those flying beasties flying over the lava. There's a few options for XP storage and retrieval that allow exact levels. Ender IO has the XP Obelisk, UtilitiX has an Experience crystal. Reliquary's Hero's medallion is nice too as it does a few things extra and is carried and can do immediate storage of XP.
There is just so much to do and see I don't have enough time
Noice
Needs work to be "Noice"
The Kobold dungeon is fascinating. Aren't you wearing a spore charm thing? I think that's what's making the little green piles with the particles and the popping sound as it explodes.
I will check if out next time I play
Instead of torches, use Projectile -> conjure magelight from your ars spell book. For iron, make an iron farm (easy villagers mod). It's simple and takes 1 villager to get started. (but grab 3 anyway). You should use tiny coal/tiny charcoal as it will use your coal resources more efficiently. Congrats on the crab! Well done! Fortune 8 is possible in LL7, and then you can increase that by 4 using the top tier gem "Perfect Gem of the Earth" in a gem slot. Looting +1 familiar in ars nouveau is the Drygmy. For repairing equipment, look to getting a powered diamond anvil or magma anvil.
I need to unlock the spell, and I was thinking about using the tiny coal, but wasn't sure of it's effectiveness
Mabye one of the first times i have seen you use suspension😂
I just use the other variant, it is wider so it not only dampens, but also moves the wheels further from the middle
Is it just me or the Mic is Low?
Maybe, my sound mixing isn't the best and I also need a new mic
This is a duplicate of the last video!
Well, f***, s***, c***, d***, mf. I didn't notice and I just deleted the last video from my pc
Chiseled bookshelves from vanilla minecraft can hold 6 enchanted books each, iirc. As you progress through the apotheosis enchantment stuff, you'll reach a point where you can make a library of alexandria (this is an upgraded version of the enchantment library). Make this a goal! It allows you to collect and combine your enchantments and then pull them out as a single book to enchant with. For a single block solution, it is the best for managing all of your enchantment books. I do like the nordic version you ended up using. VERY Nice for a glorified chest!! There may be an infuser which allows you to pick your enchantments, check for it and if it's still available, make it a goal too! It's a fantastic enchanting setup that allows you to select those top tier enchantments without all the need for the enchantment books or random chance enchanting. I wanted to let you know blazes drop a spell book with 10 slots (from Irons). It's probably the best one you can get without going through a crazy upgrade process. Your current one is rather limited with only those 5 slots. You can remove spells from the book by grabbing it in the right side of the inscription table window while it's on the table and the spell is selected. There's also a way to combine identical spells to get the next higher version and a way to create spells from scratch, but I never got deep enough into the mod to learn the process properly.
I will check both things' recipes before next time. For now this book is more than enough since I don't even have 5 spells
Its always fun to see how different players evolve in the campaign😂
You haven't seen my final form
Ritual of binding next to the ars creatures (with the brazier placed, right click with the tablet of binding. since there's no augmentation of the ritual required, just right click a second time to active the ritual) will make an item you can use to unlock the familiars (one time use). The drygmy familiar gives a boost to looting. I tend to capture 1 of each in a small room and run the ritual once. All present ars magic creatures get converted immediately into their "bound script". Use each one and then turn on my drygmy fam. lol. The familiar tab is below the built-in documentation tab in your spell book. I haven't ever bothered with the other familiars. Ritual of containment is much the same. Place the jar, place the brazier, right click the tablet on the brazier, then right click the brazier with an empty hand. Entities go into the jar(s). This can include arrows on the ground, wandering traders, etc. If you want to preserve and make the ritual available in the future without making another tablet, place a source jar with over 10% in it to "recharge" the ritual after use and it the brazier will continue running. You should be able to pause the ritual with a lever. I often use a cardboard box. Contained mobs can be used in a drygmy farm later. If you have a drygmy familiar active when you enter a drygmy farm, it will dance with the farming dude(s). You'll want to review the familiars, source, rituals, and automation chapters of the documentation Dispel can remove items from jars. Sourcelinks generate source and place it into the source jars that are within range. The vitalic sourcelink is great next to any mob farm as it generates source on growth of entities and their deaths, while speeding up growth rates. Agronomic sourcelink next to farms generates source on plant growth but stops when plants stop growing. The cutest thing ever is to make a source berry farm (using an agronomic sourcelink and a starbuncle charm with a cute bed and any storage spot). The rest of the sourcelinks tend to be best used by placing the relevant consumable items on a pedestal. Ars is a massive mod with mobs, bosses, transportation portals, storage system, weapons, armor, curios and other features worth pursuing if you have an interest. Minecolonies even has a schematic pack which is based on and uses ars nouveau items. Make sure you also test out all the ars nouveau Caster Tomes you find in chests while exploring for loads of fun. Iron's spell book info is in the comments from last episode. Basically, make/find an inscription table to add/remove spells from your equipped book.
Will do
The meadow biome is special for bee stuff. Saplings grown in the biome should have 100% chance of spawning a vanilla bee nest when grown next to a flower. ARS NOUVEAU novice spell book. (Though not required to make the brazier, containment jar, and tablet of containment). You will need a scribe table to add new spells to your spell book from Ars. I like to have dispel for removing mob/items from containment jars. Also works to remove debuffs when you cast it on yourself. Heal is another winner. Esc > Options... > Contols > key binds In this screen, you will want to configure the different mods' spell book key bindings to be unique (Ars vs Iron's). They tend to overlap by default. The Iron's key binds were under the Ars ones, so scroll down next time. I just know you're going to enjoy playing with Iron's stuff. It's spells are quite animated. There's a villager house with the Iron's Inscription table which I tend to pilfer, but the recipe is cheap. You'll use the inscription table to add/remove spells from your Iron's spell books. This modpack is so big I can't get it to load in without severe lag on my machine. Try to use @modnames format to reduce your JEI searches to specific mods. IE: "@iron table" should show the iron's spells inscription table.
As always thank, I found out after the video that I need a scribe table for iron
@@justfantastikrab5047 Nice merging there. Inscription table for Iron's. Scribe table for Ars Nouveau.
Thx, finding tier 3 now ^^
Glad to have been of help
You can use a trapped chest in place of a regular chest in most recipes that call for one. To trap a crab for display I'd recommend a containment jar from Ars Nouveau (requires a containment jar, brazier and a tablet of awakening). I recommend shooting for a rainbow furnace asap as it can smelt an entire stack at once. It will require 10 furnaces to craft. When you have RF available, you can add a factory augment that will give more slots and use RF. When you're ready for Botania mod, you can make a flower bag that will collect dropped Botania flowers & hold all the various types. The petal apothecary you got was one of the earliest items you'll need to get started with Botania mod. Bonus! I'm super stoked you got an antidote vessel. That will come in quite handy while exploring. The leather belt is the lowest tier of belt. The charm slots added by the various belts is tied to their Relic Quality which you can re-roll when you have levels to waste on it.
Must have crab. I think I played around with Botania a long time ago in some other modpack, but I don't remember anything.
Esc>mods>corail>config>enable halloween ghost>off This scream event serves as a "festive" reminder you can use your ankh which has a 3 hour cooldown. There's an option in the corail gui to set your grave style. When you save that change, you'll be given an item that's used to make your first grave for the mod. Do this at a base where you can setup a gravesite so you don't carry it around needlessly. But DO get it once you are willing to get it started. I use it early game to strip enchants and a couple other fun things. You can enchant bundles on the grave for some more knowledge of death. The grave needs hours to generate a soul that enables all the corail features (looks like a purple or blue orb flying above the grave). Since I'm prone to a lot of dying, I recommend the keep xp on death as my first goal for myself. If you wanted to setup a temp storage, you could use /sethome (once) and return here with /home whenever you need to unload cargo and then use /back to return to your explorations. I recommend 4 villager kidnappings (shift-right-click with an empty hand or press v [default keybind iirc]). Turning the villagers into items can also keep them safe since you can stick them in a chest. It's also how you add them to the iron golem farm and other items from easy villagers mod. I've set up bases in some pretty amazing dungeons. Best to get some cardboard boxes or comparators asap to disable the spawners. Cardboard doesn't require silk touch to break a box containing a spawner, but using comparators gives the ability to turn on spawners with redstone. I know a trick for early game silk touch. Silent gear amethyst tip on a pickaxe. Also, enchanting an exchanging gadget usually only gets silk touch/soulbound when you use an enchanting table. Strip the enchantment with your favorite method. Search JEI for "Fortune". Let's see if some mod has an easy Fortune enchantment we could rip off like evilcraft's vengeance pickaxe. Best to plan ahead since it'll require stuff like dark gems. Once you have some stuff with gem slots, look at the splendor gem's +Luck which generates better loot in chests. They're the big green gem you see in the item frames of those towers that have the TNT at the top under the book cases. You put the gems in an empty slot with a smithing table. I make a list of my favorite gems and recycle the ones I won't use into gem dust. The loot pinata ability is amazing. There are tables you can use to add it to your sword, if you don't get it as a drop. This process will give the item a crazy name like the wrench you found. Look for those types of items carefully as some may come with +Luck. The number of slots goes up to 4 and is random. Killing mobs of endermen in the End is how I recommend getting some good loot drops to recycle if you want to explore this part of the mod and beef up your gear. How many rewards did you unlock from the chests you looted? Make sure the item goes into your inventory before you put it into a backpack from a looted chest so you unlock your rewards. Those quests can have some great info. Make a nature compass or explorer's compass out of the compass you found. They function like the cheat commands /locate biome and /locate structure. Take a minute to figure out how you'll be setting up your long distance travel network. Are you going to use waystones, tempad, or something else like map teleporting? Your life will be easier if you can setup quick teleporting to locations.
Ummm... ok...
A repurposed structure that was actually converted into a village. LOL. That's awesome! I love this variation of End City. Did the Ancient Golem drop netherite ingots?
Didn't know they did drop those, but no it didn't
i don't understand a single word, im taking a divorce
I don't know numbers, but 69
Seriously consider turning on the casual option to activate /home & /back commands. I use them the most. The Eccentric Tome is full of the guides from most of the mods. You can add books by placing them in a crafting grid with the tome. Using the tome opens the GUI to select the desired book. Punching the air with the tome clears the selected book. Slice of Life: Carrot edition means you need a feeding upgrade for that backpack asap. Add one of each of the "not eaten" items to the backpack. The rest go into your kitchen to see if they can be crafted into anything "not eaten". The everlasting steak should be your default food in a filtered slot at the bottom of your backpack. The '/foodlist size' command can tell you your progress to the next heart. EasyVillagers Iron Farm is a must asap. Rapidly follow it with their breeder and incubator. Use their farmer (carrots recommended here) to feed the breeder. Little discussed fact is these breeders can create villagers with the regional outfits. I love the purple and green outfits of villagers created in a swamp biome. Get a converter to easily reduce prices for their trades. The traders from this mod are how I usually acquire my emeralds in large quantities early game. A tree farm (aka lumber bees) for sticks/logs/charcoal and a beekeeper (from productive bees mod) is my usual source. AE2 is the autocrafting system you'll want to aim for as it will give you a ton a abilities. And autocrafting will be the key to progressing a bunch of stuff rapidly. Mahou Tsukai is one of the things I start asap with a simple ordered displacement and a pig to raise my mahou cap passively. This will become relevant when you want to make the morgan (a most awesome sword with an insane damage cap potential). Bees. Ok. we should talk about "step 1" for bees since you're new to the mod. Basically there's 2 types of bees we start with in the world, vanilla and nested bees. While looting chests, etc, you may find sturdy bee cages. These are reusable while the ones you can craft are single use. If you see a nest with a bee inside, you can break the nest and it will retain the bee for easy transport. Otherwise, with a flower in your offhand, you can easily catch wild bees in the bee cages. I tend to collect them as I find them so I don't have to go looking later. I recommend setting aside a spot for bee breeding/raising/aging. It will be separate hives from the resource generators you'll build later on. Look for a form of player-only glass to use as a door here. This will have bees flying around the room and leashed up to fence posts. While you'll want some hives for holding bees you want combs from (mainly for quests and impulse needs), you'll have bees that are solitary in the same space and they will not enter advanced hives. Once you have some honey generation going on, you can setup honey generators for easy early game RF needs like the incubator and breeding chamber from productive bees and other stuff. The ingredients for simulator upgrades are your first bee goals to achieve to you can get the bees into hive and keep them there. These are diamonds, emeralds, ender pearls, and blaze rods. The blaze rods are made ONLY from the blazing comb BLOCKS. You'd otherwise get blaze powder from the non-block combs. But what's really important with bees?!? Chosing your advanced hive and expansion box types asap so you can get the wood for your lumber bee to copy. Since productive Trees is in this pack, you have an overwhelmingly huge selection to choose from. If you store bees in sophisticated storage (barrels, shulkers, chests), then you can later link those inventories to a storage link from sophisticated storage, then attach the link to an ae2 storage bus and then you can search all connected containers for the specific bee you seek via your ae2 wireless terminal. In planning, I'll advise I tend to use 2-3 netherite level containers to hold me bee cages that are being stored. This container level can be upgraded safely in-world via the upgrades, so just upgrade them as you acquire the resource needed. 3 early game things you want to acquire asap: nature's compass, explorer's compass and scannable's scanner equipped with range and rare ore scanner modules. The Arcs tab in your inventory is for specific Blue Skies boss "Arc" drops. These bonuses are small compared to most other sources. Powered diamond anvil can repair most items with durability. But it won't repair mystical agriculture infusion crystals. This is why I'd recommend committing your initial essence production to acquiring the master infusion crystal which doesn't have durability. The bees are the quickest way to acquire essences since you can only grow the lowest tier, but bees can produce the highest tier... in quantity. Think that's a lot? LOL. Not even close!!! This pack has over 700 mods. Many of which I have never even touched, so there's plenty to explore!
Thanks for the essay fam, but no I don't think I will follow your advice for now I just wish to explore not enter into factory mode I will do a few of the things you mentioned but not that many
hi love your vids
Thanks, glad you enjoy them
19:00 you open the thing for the knockback thing
I do open the thing for the thing, but what do I do with the thing then? I will try something next time
@@justfantastikrab5047 The next step requires you to have the XP points listed when you hover over the ability on the right. It's not levels, but XP points. You highlight the ability and use the left arrow button (in the center column) to move it to you and the XP is reduced from your current XP and the ability is now active. You can remove it with another ability totem, or the jar from the same mod. Mobs with different color sparkles will drop a totem of the corresponding rarity.
Step one for any modpack like this is to open the quest book and start the first quests which allows other quests to be started.... LL7 really is a great modpack and there's so much to explore. There's loads of loot in the quest rewards in these limitless modpacks. There's potentially some late game items which can really help out early on. There's also many routes to achieve your goals, so in that initial quest chapter go over the different options carefully. Your first goals might be to narrow down which mods you want to explore first and see what the related chapter in the quest book needs to initialize it. First tip: junk the quest book item from your inventory and then use the icon in the upper left (while the inventory is open) to access the quest book. Saves 1 space. Add (LL7) to the titles of your videos so folks find them easier. The version of the modpack is relevant, I suggest you add it to the description and keep it updated whenever you update the pack. Excellent start, excellent choice, most excellent!
Thanks as always I will try and address all of the points you have written
I love building hovers in any game. Weight is huge obstacle. I built mine with gso armor only. Used those yellow hoverblades only, for hovering far up in the sky. To save weight i only used gso mortars, mounted like 20 of em underneath me(shooting enemies while being on top of em). I also had two biggest batteries with 1 yellow healing bubble. The build couldnt be bigger than the single healing bubble. 4 gso shield bubbles. Balanced the build perfectly so it doesnt need gyroscopes. Fun times.
Nice. I am not the best builder in this game and so I have to do with this. Trailmakers is a different beast entirely, which I will have to conquer sooner or later in the campaign.
@@justfantastikrab5047 Me not good builder either, there's always someone way better. Always:D Gonna check out trailmakers for the first time. Seems interesting game. I played robocraft 1 and 2, crossout, sprocket. Now I play completely different game named "we who about to die". Anyway, keep up the good work!
Thanks, I too remember fondly the old days of robocraft. Also I know about "we who are about to die" good game but not really my cup of tea
I made a suprisingly grippy set of wheels, a large wheel in the middle, and on both of the sides offroad wheels😮 And, where are u from? That accent sounds Sibarian or Russian
Might try it once I reach the mud islands. Bulgaria
I love your content
Thanks.
water is not working in this game? terratech2 have working water
One day I might get my hull wet then. There is no water in TerraTech 1
Hazmat suit... geiger counter... dosimeter. The invert option in the logic adapters is the tiny tab hanging off the right side.
I will one day find it
Isn't this ship meant to be on water? and do you have Russian accent? or am i just crazy :D
As a Russian, that accent seems really Russian :)
I am not russian, but I am slavic
That is the point, but there is no water in this game, and sadly tracks make it so it can't turn. Also check my other answer for the second question
Isn't this a "Star Wars" Reference?
Don't think so, but maybe
5 logic adapters are needed to run properly. 4 with the different "issue warnings" and one to shut it down with when it gets a signal from any of those 4. Redstone magic is required for the linking, but that's about it. As you configure those 4 logic ports, you will see the 4 possible reasons that caused your reactor to explode. I won't spoil the surprise here.
Thanks anyway, but I don't know when I will be making the new one
polak?
no
Very great video, i wouldl like more of these :D
Well, there are at least 72 more. And more are on the way
@@justfantastikrab5047 Can't wait to see that :D
The fire that killed your builder was likely from being attacked by a mob on fire. To avoid it, in the future, you need to light up the edge of your colony to stop mobs spawning and wandering inside the colony border. Lightning was also a possibility. Colonists aren't aware enough to put the fire out. They walk into lava, campfires, flames on the ground, etc. There's a tech you can research that helps the nether miner avoid similar damage, but I don't think it works for other occupations. You'll need to read the details at the university for your version, as it's been too long since I've played anything that old. I'm in utter awe you are in a version that predates deepslate. I forgot it was only added in 1.17. I really dislike the dissolution chamber from industrial foregoing as it takes multiple fluids in the same machine to make the tiers of machine frames. In my worlds, I only use it with automation. Watching you waste so much time with it, I can understand why you haven't made the addons I would consider vital. Once you have automated recipes for the addons, (and machine frames!!!) it's only a click to make it happen. The 5x output with less energy use will make your shortages less common. You really have better things to focus on, like more lighting near the borders, advancing your colony, or increasing your energy pipes tier to accommodate the additional machines you added recently that appeared to get no power since the energy pipe was likely using more than it's capable of holding. The energy cube looked like it may not have the sides configured to output in one direction (last video) where the pipe appeared empty, if throughput wasn't the issue. The cube, like the energy pipes, has a max throughput. Is there uranium stacking up in your warehouse from a miner colonist? Since a colony will never use it, the warehouse can be overrun with the resources it will never utilize. I still advise guard towers on the edge of your colony to protect from intruders. 1 guard/residence is about the right level since 1 house holds 5 colonists and their 5 occupation buildings also need guarding. Hence 1 guard will barely protect those 7 places effectively (yeah, +1 for the guard tower itself!!). Your open border plan allows for intruders to wander in and walk around without running into a single guard.
I will work on everything you just mentioned
You still haven't added tier 2 addons to the laser drill machines.
One day... One day
This same design is on the steam work shop but keep up the good work.
I have never opened the workshop
