This must be one of the most beautiful of songs. The poetry of the lyrics, wedded to the richness of the tenor's controlled tone is a choral and musical delight. Seamus Begley just must be the best of Irish traditional singers. Check out his almost equally magnificent Ciarraioch Mallaithe, Ar Éireann ní n-eosainn cé hí or Cill Mhuire and you'll hear for yourself, if you haven't already. The version of Bruach na Carraige Báine with Mary Black is another gem. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís.

This is amazing. I saw them all those years ago. Brilliant band and one of the best gigs I was privileged enough to go to see!
