Fitting Satchell Engineering Aluminium Crank Pulley Kit
A short video on fitting the Satchell Engineering Aluminium Crank Pulley Kit. These kits are available here:

Hard anodised aluminium crank pulley and alternator pulley with belt for a 8v/16v TU engine.
It is a four groove pulley and is supplied with a four groove belt
The crank pulley is 113mm diameter and the alternator pulley is 68mm. it is designed to gear down the alternator slightly to reduce power consumption for competition engines.
The kit also includes a new belt and a spacer to fit behind the alternator pulley.

I've got a bit of space in the garage as the Seat is away getting the gearbox looked at. So, a good time to crack on with a few jobs on the 106 race car. I thought it would be easier to do most of them with the engine and gearbox out of the car. This was the fastest race lap that I managed in 750MC Club Enduro, Round 2 at Croft 2022. I think with more time on the track a 1:31 is within my reach. Reviewing the video I can see lots of areas to improve on.

Do u still run a brake servo with them calipers?
i got a question maybe you have the knowlegdge. i wanna mill down the apracing logo from the brakes would this make any problems? If they are made by being machined i would think not. But if they are made by casting it could i think. what is your take on this?

It’s fitted, but it’s taking me an age to finish the car. Hopefully be out this season. 🤞
How u getting on with the build?
I'm spending the next 4 days on it- trying to do the interior wiring loom.

Just clean break fluid, and no lubricant needed. 👍
