There is a mod by Luke Ross called R.E.A.L. VR mod, it is on Luke Ross's Patreon and its only for PC. I will say the FPS is pretty bad for VR, you need to uncap your FPS in Elden Ring with a mod.

I play in VR so I actually can avoid some surprises by peeking my head around a corner. But also when I don't catch it, it becomes 10 times worse

It does work with multiplayer, but in my experience there is more lag spikes that happen.

Assuming you have UEVR installed, you need to press the import config button and import the profile you downloaded. From there you boot up the game, get to the main menu, go to your UEVR window on your desktop, pick the "Pandemic" process, and hit inject. Once you inject, go ahead and load up a single player lobby, start the game, open up the in-game UEVR UI (press in both joysticks if you are using quest), turn on the advanced settings, and open up the object hooks tab. When the object hooks tab is open, it should attach the gun to your hands. One other thing you need to do is configure your control's aim method to use your right hand, if you don't there is a chance bullets may come out of your eyes and not the gun. An important note about the profile is that your hand in real life and gun will never exactly match one-to-one. Like if you use a pistol, the gun might be super far from your hand in real life. If you are talking about the VR, it's from something called the UEVR injector, it can convert most unreal engine games to VR but it does take some setup. If you are talking about the map, is a part of the new update.

If you look in the uobjecthook folder in the config you downloaded, those json files you can open with a text editor and you might be able to find the thing that needs to be modified, and with that name you might be able to find it in the UEVR UI.

Also another note, because of the way the game handles it's hand animations (hand positioning on guns) your right hand position in real life will never be 1 to 1 with all weapons in the game. For me, I based my hand position on two handed weapons, which gets most of the job done and it matches closely, but with pistols, that thing is like a full 4+ inches away from my actual hand position. So having the aiming not match is also something I experience, but I can manage.

I got soft locked on my first playthrough. I died to AI and I kept spawning in the water, so I drowned to death 4 times. But yeah, the game needs some work.

You can type '/' to use the console. Enter help to see list of console commands. You can use commands like 'noclip' (shit + j to activate) to get out of soft lock and 'give [gun name]' to restore progress when encountering bugs.

I honestly do not remember how I set it up. It took me days of experimenting to get something playable. I can look into how I set up that profile again and post a video. Worse case I just post a link to my UEVR profile in the description of this video.

I uploaded my UEVR profile to the description of the video. If others are having issues with the profile I made and comment about it, then I can consider posting a video.

If you play single player, the AI is significantly more difficult considering I am the only target. They headshot me frequently.

Yup, I got motion controls to work so I am physically aiming the gun, but I had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it feeling right. Unfortunately my controller offset when using pistols is wayyyyy off, so my pistol in game and my hand and real life don't match.

Yeah, some one made most of the swat 4 maps into mods for ready or not.

I have a Ryzen 7 5600x, 32gb of ram and a 2080 super. Playing on a quest 3. If you check my reply to moss official in this comment section, I say 3 things I did to boost my fps to play in VR

Yeah there is no recoil with this configuration of UEVR. There is a way to configure it to have recoil and show the player hands, but aiming and doing any action becomes 100x harder to play.

Yeah it's pretty lacking in content. It also doesn't do a good job at leading players where they need to go, I see a lot of people cluelessly run around and quit because they don't know how to progress. An update is supposed to release on April 29th so hopefully things change for the better.

I've only had performance issues with RoN so far, I was getting 20-45 FPS before I found a few changes that helped me get to 72-90 FPS on average. Do you run into performance issues on all games you played with UEVR?

@@WutangRK I already get very poor frames on RoN despite having a 4060 and I fear using UEVR would just make it unplayable

@@Moss_Official I made a few simple changes to the game to get a consistent 144+ frames on non VR Ready Or Not. I am using a 2080 super which is similar in performance to your 4060. Do you want to know what changes I made?

​@@Moss_Official I made 3 main changes that really helped out my FPS on desktop. (Sorry for the wall of text) You may want to save anything I tell you to delete as a backup in case something goes wrong 1) Do what steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2831270183 tells you, its a optimization guide for RoN. If you do this keep in mind your game settings will get wiped. This helped me out in my case, it may not in yours depending on when you installed RoN. Just make sure you adjust your settings back afterward. 2) Swap out the NVIDIA DLSS dll file in \Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Plugins\Nvidia\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64 with DLSS 3.7. You can download DLSS 3.7 in Nexus Mods. Since you have a 40 series card you should get a larger benefit with frame generation. I have a 2080 super so I don't get that, but I still get a good FPS boost (I set my DLSS setting in-game to ultimate performance, but you do you for that) 3) Enable VSYNC. It stopped most if not all of my frame drops. You don't need to add an FPS cap in game if you enable it. Now for UEVR, if you want to try that, the best change you can make is to disable the RoN in-game UI inside of the UEVR menu. For some ungodly reason rendering the UI in VR breaks everything. Unfortunately, you won't be able to see what in-game action you are usually prompted for, but if you get good enough you will know where to look. There are other things, but those helped me the most. Hope they work for you if you decide to give them a try!
