That is in no way at all advanced English. It certainly isn’t better than the “normal” column. If anything the quality is equal but some of the “advanced” phases are just old fashion ways of saying the phrase and it wasn’t considered advanced at that time either. Another point is that the 2nd column is not more advanced than the 1st column but may differ by geographical regions. A good example of how neither column is advanced is the phrase “i’m fit as a fiddle”. That phrase in not only not advanced but associated with the not so educated and less than considered socially appropriate that may be found in the south. I am in no way saying or even thinking that most southern people are uneducated or don’t have appropriate social skills. Who made this video and thought the supposedly advanced phrases were actually better? I tell tell you one thing for sure, the advanced phases are screaming “chosen by someone without a high education and/or are not very worldly. I could see a person thinking “well I haven’t hear this phase or I don’t hear it very often” which tells me that the person doesn’t comprehend that just because it’s their first time learning a phrase it doesn’t mean it’s someone novel. You just don’t get out of your town much, watches simple TV shows if they watch, and I highly doubt that the person is a reader. If you are going to try to make videos, do it on a subject that is not beyond your education or sophistication levels. You look foolish and anyone who disagrees with this comment or analysis fall into the very same boat as the person who actually thought their simple phrases were actually advanced. Surround yourself with more people or something. I am actually embarrassed for you for making this video and showing what a simpleton you are.
