We redid the 2013 theme but this time made it a little more vampirey. This ivideo we took at the end of the night after all the guests left. It came out better than I expected. Enjoy.

Western theme. In this lights-on version, the talking skeleton's mouth worked really well while the drumroll sound behind the hanging scene wasn't loud enough.

Western theme. It seems like in every video I post, some things are shown better than others. This lights out version shows the hanging scene the best, but the gun lights didn't show so well (looks like the bulb in one gun had burnt out by then) and the talking skeleton didn't want to move his mouth that much. Enjoy!

For some reason my ancient old video on this (filmed in super low res) got almost 7,000 views. I'm bringing it back this year so I did this followup. It's basically the same thing as my lurching gentlemen prop, but maybe people liked the motion better.

Made with 3/4" PVC pipe, put together with screws, and Creepy Hands. I didn't say on the video but I found the best crankshaft "width" is about a 5.5" radius (the length of visible pipe between the center and outer elbows is 2.5") because the sleeves on Creepy Hands are about 12 inches long. Castle Frankenstein is the theme mad scientist etc. Held at the bottom floor of City Hall. This is our fifth year of having themed haunted houses and my eighth year with the town (the first three years had every room as a different theme, which is easier than having one theme for everything).

Carnival Theme Haunted House

Made with a PicoFX, some Italian wedding string lights, and the same talking skull who has done many prior haunts for me (pirates, Grande Athena Hotel, haunted manor). I hope it inspires you for your own haunted house.

This was taken the Saturday before Halloween. We had a few glitches that day that we fixed for Halloween itself. For example, the first video projection had a partly frozen picture. We also had people in the last room for Halloween, and I didn't wear a mask on Halloween. This video came out fairly well in the low light except for the talking skull being washed out by the video light at the end....
