We’ve read a lot of the same books but, have very different opinions on some of them. Lol. Unpopular opinion, I LOVE differing opinions on books! They create some amazing discussions. I still need to read 11/22/63. I’ve have it on my shelves for over a year. And I’ve heard so many great reviews on Piranesi but, I think you’ve finally convinced me to actually read it.
11/22/63 is amazing. The characters still stick with me today. And Piranesi is my favorite story of all time. It is so well written and doesn’t feel like a normal book. I would love to hear what you think of it after you read it!

LOVED Salem’s Lot, read it last year! I’m about to start Pet Sematary. And aside from that one I’m pretty envious of your Oct TBR compared to mine😂😂 there’s no way I could read that many in a single month but it seems like you’ve got a great selection of scary reads for Oct. Very nice TBR!!

Gotta love Linkin Park. Hybrid Theory is my favorite album of theirs for sure. And the cover of Nothing But Blackened Teeth is so eye catching! Hopefully the story is as good as the cover haha!
I think you will dig the Joe Hill stories. Salems Lot is awesome. I am also exited for the adaptation this week. Ohh Night Shift. It’s awesome! I hope you like The Mangler! Cool TBR man.

Oh man I loved Rose the Hat. Honestly I really like the True Knot a lot. And yes Linkin Park haha. I have a vinyl record player right below that and I’m slowly building a collection

Haha I had a hard time caring about some of the plot lines. What do you think made it a disaster?
@@OddOdieOnline it has three uninteresting characters, which don't move the main plot further and behave in an annoying way. I'm afraid I didn't relate to any of them
I'm in the midst of reading through Dark Tower (currently on Wastelands after taking a break from the main series to read The Stand per booktube recommendation). My issue with Drawing of the Three is that I was really enjoying the setting and vibe of Gunslinger, and wasn't expecting/wanting so much of Three to take place in our world. Kept begging for it to get on with it and go back to mid-world. It did ultimately feel like a bit of an extended detour, mainly for the sake of character backstory and maybe some explanation of in-world mechanics. So far I'm enjoying Wastelands more as it's getting back to the main story line (i.e., the journey to the tower)

I have those exact same issues of The Stand and Lonesome Dove. The Stand. Was. Amazing! I read it last year in April and a year and a half later it STILL jumps into my mind quite often. Yeah, it’s pretty powerful. There’s a reason King brings up that book a lot. I have Lonesome Dove on my 2025 TBR and it will be my first western. Salem’s Lot and The Shining are two of my favorite King novels and I read both last year as well. I haven’t read all of his collections works yet myself but if you haven’t read any then may I suggest Different Seasons and Full Dark, No Stars for you to read soon? I haven’t read Night Shift yet either. I only have a few short story works left and I’ll have completed all of those and then I can focus on the rest of his novels. Excellent TBR haul!
Yeah I really need to get on reading The Stand haha! I’ve moved it further up on my TBR list. And oh nice I’ll be excited to hear what you think of Lonesome Dove. It will also be my first western! Looking forward to Salems Lot quite a bit. Thanks for the recommendations!
i read The Stand earlier this year and loved it. i also plan on reading Lonesome Dove very soon as it sounds great. that cover for the shining is pretty cool for a modern cover same with that version of salems lot looks nice to. but the original hardcover will always my favorite cover
I am planning on reading The Stand soon. In all of his interviews it seems like he always brings up that one the most. And yeah I try not to focus on covers too much but sometimes they just catch my eye haha! OG hardcover is very cool too

Lol a Kevin Towle video...i need to upload one of my screw up videos so everyone can see how bad i am lol. Man, you have some genres here...great authors too. Shirley Jackson, Miller, Krauker, McCarthy, King. And you loved 11/22/63 - it is a wonderful book!!! I am so happy you enjoyed this as much as I did. Cant wait to re-read it. Pet Sematary does have a weird ending...and yes IT is another struggled ending...glad you loved the book though its a great story! Great books man. I do have one suggested book, try Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir when you get a chance...i suspect you will dig it! AND I think you will really like Drawing of the Three and Wastelands...fingers crossed. Ooh Mr. Mercedes Trilogy is also really good, you meet Jerome and Holly. Good video man.

I use an outline sort of like this: Title Author Pub Date Summary Things i liked Things I disliked Funny/Excerpts I liked Rating Overall thoughts Helps keep me structured, but it is easy to embellish, get side tracked, etc...but its gets easier over time i think...but I still have to record 3-4 times before I like what I record, prior to uploading...sometimes more, and as you have seen, I am like screw it, we are going with it! Keep it up!
