RT student here. This is a wonderful demonstration, but this is not high flow delivery. Non-rebreather masks are still low flow; devices like blenders or jet-entertainment systems are high flow. Non-rebreathing masks deliver high FiO2 but at a low flow. Just telling other students- please remember this as this is super important. If a doctor says he/she needs high flow, you wouldn't choose a non-rebreather. High flow device should provide 60 L/min at a minimum. There is no way a non-rebreather can provide that. Just a friendly heads-up!
Omg neither could I, had to mute it after about 1 minute and read the subtitles as I couldn't stand her 😂 she sounds really anxious as well with all the rapid breathing. Glad it's not only me!
thank you! 8.7

THE QUESTION MARK
Super sister
I am wearing a nasal cannula for help my pretend patient with severe asthma attack to breathe each night
How mutch mem
I'm tryng to find a clip where they show which way the two prongs should go in - curved downwards or upwards. Can't find anybody who says that clearly
Lot of video's on RUclips to show you
Videos I've watched the consensus seems to be to point them down for better flow.

Does this device require a certain about of PSI? Can it be used with a 10L concentrator or does it require wall O2?
thanks
So helpful. Thank you.

Great.what is the nxt
You said deliver high flow to the patient and I have to look up if it's high flow system...lol
What affects does it have when air entrainment port is closed vs it being open
Great video, this helped a lot
is this a partial non-rebreather as it doesnt have a 3rd valve?
Ivan Cuellar technically yeah it is. A proper non rebreathing mask has 3 valves on.
I can't take it, anymore... "ottsygen" & "excelled" air
