always comments about "backwards compatibility" but no one talking about if the future games would still be playable on switch and this can be a good question to ask, because switch 2 offers better specs, higher quality and all that stuff but it doesn't mean that the games can't have lower quality versions that can still work on the switch and i'm pretty sure switch 2 will fail if they go the path of putting out exclusives, as you said they sell the consoles at a lower price to sell the games, so they'd get more money if they still allow switch users to keep playing their games without changing the console, they'd still make a larger profit, people like myself would feel like "i don't need the quality they offer just yet, so why would i buy it?" and if they start putting out exclusive it's going to be their loss as emulation will be inevitable once again, so it should be more considered as an upgrade from the switch rather than a totally new console, just like OLED was, letting people the choice to upgrade if it's necessary for them rather than an obligation, and i know it's a company and they need to make money but they are also known to make marketting errors just like with the Wii U... so... this can go bad for them
I think we may see SOME overlap with cross generational titles. However I think they will be limited to the first year of this consoles life span.

@Noobknight..0 damn, I actually never understanded why all the waiting, like I know we waited soo much for something like An nswitch 2, but with that fact in mind, we can just wait a little bit just for the corporation to officially release the product, like me. Except if you're a scalper, or you saw a discount for the early release

Actually it should be before they dont do friday launches anymore they do thursdays plus they release products in asia last and asia has a hands on event held in june im pretty sure so they have to release it like a week or 2 before june 20th
My mind set was they give the switch 2 out to reviewers and critics a week after the events end. Then they can play it for a week. Then the embargo for the reviews lifts on the 13th of June. Then the following week everyone can get their hands on one!

I keep coming back to this video because of how intriguing the Nintendo Switch 2 rumor is. I hope you can make a video about the Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date and Specs. Along with the soothing and calm nature of your voice, it is like an ASMR gaming video.
There's also what the Zero/ZX Collection does for the ZX games. It's definitely not ideal, but it's an option.

I love the idea of being able to play DS games on the Switch, but this is just too complicated. Modders have already made a great solution. Just flip the switch on its side (so it's the long way up and down) and divide the screen into two halves. Nintendo could sell an official grip so you can slide your joy cons on the sides, and boom you can play DS games on the switch.
Even if they don’t release a hardware attachment for the switch, I feel as though you could still add the games. Just make it so the top displays a little bit bigger than the touchscreen display on the switch.

IKR it seems obvious once you take a second and think about it.
What about the stylus functionality, and how would gamers react when it gets revealed, when you need an expensive screen adapter plus the Expansion Pack? As that's pretty much what's gonna happen with future additions. It just doesn't seem logical at all rn. I would rather they stick with what they know will keep their fanbase alive without having to uncomfortably work around those issues, which might end up skipping the DS entirely.
These are good points. What I personally think will happen is, it will not be a requirement to purchase any extra accessories to play the games. You will have to option to play them split screen on one individual display, buying an attachment will only enhance the experience though. As for the stylus, I have not thought that through all the way. So I am not too sure.
