During WWII the people were intimately part of the National Security effort. Remember "Rosie the Riveter" and everybody employed in the war production effort? Everyone had a stake in keeping America secure. Now, all the "Research" and "National Security" seems to be for the benefit of the researchers, the institutions, the politicians and the donor class...but not "The People".

I have decades of experience working on data science projects. But I can't find a job (dev, QA or customer service) after 6 months of being laid off. Just post your job as response to my post, I will be happy to apply. And thank you for reading this and any help you can give.hire

After more than four decades within the USA 🇺🇸 STEM workforce system, in all facets, including visionary programs within the NIH, DOD and NSF, there are plenty of innovative ideas, plans, panel discussions and genuine desires to confirm and expand DEIA programs, but limited success. The main problem is implementation. Until we put in charge those people who can demonstrate success in this matter, regardless of age, gender, national origin, etc, we will continue to spin wheels, on this urgent rubric for the global leadership and National Security of the USA 🇺🇸. We need more insightful scientists 👨🏽‍🔬 in the American Scientific Research enterprise. Scientists with breath and depth in our rapidly evolving, but definitely multidisciplinary STEM initiatives, looking forward. Articulate questions without non-sense prose to properly address serious problems, in how we monitor the wise use of our resources, especially our finances and budgets of Science, i.e., in the NSF is of paramount importance. Good examples of how to best monitor our investments, science programs and expected outcomes are repeatedly shown by Dr. Roger N. Beachy, Plant Molecular Virology expert, in the NSB.

A lot of promises; Plenty of genuine good intentions; Misguided decisions; Scapegoating foreign born scientists 👩🏻‍🔬 👨🏽‍🔬 of proven success in contributing to solving the problem of ‘the missing millions’ with decades of understanding how to implement solutions and their first-hand understanding of the intricacies of the problem of research success in the USA, but ignored because they are ‘foreign borned’. If we want to achieve something that’s not been achieved to date, perhaps it is time that, we are truly innovative in undergraduate and graduate education, and do something different, that we have never done, instead of just ‘vigorously’ talking about it. ÁGORA Scientific Services, LLC 30* years of experience in the matter with documentable success in all rubrics discussed today.

The future is looking rather bleak on the generalized level of intelligence of human kind. As useful knowledge becomes more and more sequestered among elite entities and institutions, and trivial knowledge is pushed out among the masses with relative ease and speed, the average person has little hope in discovering the nature of all aspects of currently known realities in government, business and social matters.

Caplan : Those are three principles that I use to torture health care workers. Fauci's team used Caplan position on ethics to justify how to mandate vaccination in the covid-19 pandemic. Doctors and health care workers are part of the group of individuals which witnesses on a daily basis the complications related with wrong medication, adverse side effects of the right medication or severe reactions after vaccination (brain clots, myocarditis). So health care workers has a much precise vision of what's better for themselves, thus giving the example has nothing to do with ethics. Caplan only plays with morality, which means, individuals must sacrifice their own short term interests to benefit society. Generally, this is his only message, which doesn't include any ethical point of view. But ethics, leans towards decisions based upon individual character, and the more subjective understanding of right and wrong by individuals. Which is what Professor Julie Ponesse explained clearly, after not complying to take any vaccines against covid. Caplan uses his position to bend the definition of ethics, to fit his agenda. Like Fauci, who lied his way up, straight to the white house. We have Caplan, who uses his skills for moral persuasion to achieve ethical manipulation. This guy is a totalitarian *(torture health care workers),* he dismissed the human rights of anybody refusing medical care even if they are capable to take decisions for themselves. Julie Ponesse 1, Arthur Caplan 0

Does "Science" vote Democrat, or just speak with a Democrat's voice? "Missing Millions"? Missing millions of intellectual merit demographics or racial and gender demographics irrespective of intellectual merit? Does anyone think China is becoming the leader in the world in STEM because they engage in the visual (appearance) of "D.E.I" policies or the practicality of finding the best suited (intellectual merit) within its STEM practices and science? If America loses the race in STEM and the sciences, it's because we wanted to "Appear" diverse, rather than be practical and find the best. At which point, we deserve to lose the lead.

What a skewed view of bioethics especially given the fact that vaccines can and do harm some people up to risk their own lives or leaving them with irreparable damage for the rest of their lives. I understand you had polio but you should also consider VAERS reporting, the zero liability on part of the vaccine manufacturers or those who mandate vaccines, and the true meaning of the Hippocratic oath of doing no harm to your patients.

This guy is an agent for the Ruling Class. He is one of the elites in Political Science who are driving the field toward the "hard science" high data approach to research. One problem w/ this is that it is TOTALLY non-critical of any aspect of the political system. They can tell you that X% of the population supports Trump, but not why. Their approach is devoid of EMPATHY. They can't quantify the pain and anger that move Americans to support such a misfit in the WH. But, that's why guys like this are the "leaders" of the profession -- they are professional members of the Monkey Trio which sees no evil, hears no evil, says no evil. Hence, they make political science an arm of OPPRESSION in the USA. #PoliticalScience #PoliSci

As you can see the choices we make are positively or in some instances badly reinforcing our behaviors and so our existence.
