Severin later supported Trump. It’s worth considering why. There are very few Trump supporters among the well-educated, well-spoken and well-read members of society (Severin was in that group). That’s because Trump is a pathological liar and anyone who has some critical thinking skills can see that. Folks like Jay Severin, Tucker Carlson, JD Vance just pretend to support Trump because that’s their only way to make money now that the conservative establishment has been dismantled. Of course these public figures still despise Trump, but they appreciate being able to scam his supporters.

I hated Jay. I mean his opinions. I used to curse at the radio on my drive back home in Massachusetts. I am as liberal as they come, but, I did not missed one episode of his show. The guy was sharp, funny and entertaining. I would probably loved sharing a beer with him.

Just learned of Jay's passing. Hearing his voice again after not hearing it for years is like hearing an old friend. He taught me so much about politics (and life), and he did it with wit.

I was homeless with Mark in Atlanta. Him and I volunteered at a church together. Can't remember the name of the church. It was a few blocks from Peachtree and Pine. And like 1 block up from the Publix. I was on FB and just found out Mark died. He was a really nice guy. Fun to be around and very funny. Had a heavy weight of sincere concern about many subjects during our conversations.

Listen to his podcast sometime, he's come around 180 degrees on Trump. Hard to say whether it's because he'll rally around any Republican who proves he can win, or he genuinely changed his mind.

Imagine having made a career of shilling for Israel, sacrificing American soldiers for shekels, like lizard Jay. Severin always spoke the AIPAC talking points, no different than Max Boot, Ralph Peters and John Bolton, for the same reasons. There is a special place in hell for neocon shills like Severin. Let's hope the American soldiers he's helped kill and maim, and the countless innocent kids he's helped hurt, will get their revenge in the end, for we all will have a day of reckoning.

Listened regularly and loved him in Boston for over 6 some years. Attended one of his Ken's Steakhouse in Framingham Mass. live shows. He moved to Blaze and was incessantly anti-Trump ... he ceased to connect with his past logic (how fuckin' Libertarian do you have to be to be accepted when you're running against a Clinton?)... and hence his audience. ... figured it was Beck's influence. He unfortunately has no audience.... like Glenn Beck. Thus the Blaze sale to Daily Wire. Jay and Glenn Beck moved to the mish-mosh of nothing when America needed them the most. Annuls of colossal career blunders. Hope Jay can get back to old form...but even I have a problem now ...willing to listen.

This broadcast is a perfect example of why Jay has become irrelevant.
