To say Machines will never be concious comes off a bit simplistic, and arrogant. Not haviong clearly defined the terms of this "conciousness". Nor has he really layed out what a machine is, one might say we are just very complex biological machines, do we seperate ourselves from other mamilian life? what about bactirial and viral forms of life? is their function of sustained existance disimiliar? Theoretically, we dont even consensus on what life is or at what level it occurs. Homosapiens have such a lng ways to go and I seriously doupt we'll get there

My little brother suffered a severe asthma attack in 2011. The lack of oxygen left him severely brain damaged. The doctor's initially told us we should pull the plug. Essentially, they felt he'd be a vegetable. While he's far from a vegetative state, he's certainly brain damaged. I truly hope this documentary, and other expert's can shed some light on the mysteries of the human brain. It's my dying wish to help my brother be who he once was before. Or, to at least understand who he is now.

This documentary is truly amazing! I pray that creative minds like the past generation and the following be able to grow and create new and beautiful works of science to better us all. I personally have a parent who suffers from chronic migraines and fibromyalgia so it would be an understatement to say that I respect this and other fields like this and hope that one day my parent can live the remainder of their life without pain. SO IF YOU ARE READING THIS PLEASE PLEASE KEEP LEARNING GROWING AND IMPROVING. Because YOU and changing our world and have my love for doing so. When I graduate I plan to help you and them anyway possible.🤟🏽
