I started my journey into electronic music in 1992 with a keyboard that had 128 different sounds (GM/GS), an Atari ST 1040 with Pro24 software. To make more possible, I recorded (analog) onto two tapedecks (not cassettes, the big spools) and 'ping-ponged' until the added tapenoise became too much 🙂 Those were limitations. And that indeed breeds creativity. Nowadays I have a studio filled with all the gadgets I want, endless digital recording possibilities, using hundreds of tracks if I want to, tons of VST's, numerous effect-plugins... but I still feel I benefit from those early days where we had to cope with whatever we had.

My question is what is this called what he’s doing and what Fred Again do? Is it finger drumming or sampling the song across the pads chopping it up? Splicing Sampling or something? I’m curious of technical term for it. None the less good stuff 💯
