Rose is my cello god. What a wonderful recording. Thank you.
You're very welcome
When he plays Erlking, I realize that there will never be a time when I can play that properly because I don’t have the fast-twitch muscle fibers with which to do it. That is a genetic fact! You either have them or you don’t; and if you don’t, it doesn’t matter how many people tell you to look at a career as a recital pianist, you politely tune them out.
Ahhhh … French Impressionism. ❤️
Jaenecke’s horn solo at 40:15 must be one of the most beautiful horn sounds ever recorded.
I was just going to listen to the opening... ...35 minutes later
Song at 41:00 or so? Right before Old Man River Someone would be a hero for posting timestamps and song titles
Is the speed of erl Koenig played back correctly? Those octaves sound inhuman! Edit: I had playback set at X1.25😂. Much better now and still crazy endurance in total control
Gracias. Ilona Rosvaenge les saluda. i
That's Brahms and Joseph Joachim at 2:25.
Magnificent in every way. It's got everything......color, expression, momentum, clarification of lines, tenderness.......A real milestone recording.
Heifetz alone remains a great story
we all know that Tchaikovsky is the master of ballet..but now we can add trio
Lo que cante
Finally, someone did justice to this piece.

Thank you for uploading that gem!
Our pleasure!
Excellent sound processing, Mr. Holmes, don't think I've heard 78s transcribed any better than that. Thanks
Thanks for listening
Thank you for posting this! I love this record!
Glad you enjoy it!
This peace is out of this world. ❤
Oh wow, this is fabulous! Thank you for posting it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice work thanks.
Thank you too!
I just scribed to this channel
I can not get enough of these old vintage vinyl albums on You Tube
it's a trio for Heifetz
Extraordinary
Like! Best.
Wunderschön 🐻❤️💋kk🌻❤️❤️ m🙏🫂
This should have a million likes. Scrumptious music, fine singing. Must wonder how many young people have never heard any of these beautiful melodies by Borodin. 🎉😢
different sources say recorded 23 Oct 1933 London..
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Amazing ascension. He accepted a posiition to teach composition not even knowing the the fundamentals. He taught himself as he went along and succeeded.
If LP outstanding transfer. Magical performance.
It's messy, scrambled, on the edge, and incredibly exciting. Nobody plays like this today.
An incredible performance by incredible musicians of an incredible suite!🎉🎉 I’m glad to have heard this. Such music makes life better!😊
❤😮❤😮❤😊❤😊
voted number 1for 10 years in a row she retired on top and married a hollywood producer. She never performed a live show before an audience.
How about the video here: CAPTAIN HENRY'S SHOWBOAT - 1933 With ANNETTE HANSHAW. That shows her singing in front of an audience, even though it is also being broadcast on the radio.
Unbelievable!
Super, just great - TY
Donald Herbert-Holmes.....the highlights for me of this archival compilation , are without a doubt the 1930 vocal trio from I Lombardi, with Rethberg, Gigli and Pinza....as well as the 1920s recording of Solenne In Quest Ora, from Forza....by Gigli and the legendary bass Tito Ruffo...thank you.
Nice song. Thanks
Tutti, comunque, sempre molto bravi. Sono le ventiquattro e trenta.
