I wanna see it more. This video is somehow meditating.
more coming, thank you!
I would love to see all of your work. 15 minutes with no interruptions and I’m a FAN! ❤. Try wearing a head cam. Or placing the camera in a stationary spot. No timelapses please I love to see the work in real time with all the details.❤❤❤
Please show all of the stuff you do with concrete. I love being able to watch it without all of the edits. You can set up the camera in a stationary position so we can watch your progress. VERY COOL❤
I try too but most times it gets a little crazy and hectic to film. Im gonna work on it though!
nice work cabron.
Gracias mi Amigoo
I poured concrete "Florida"for 36 years, I'm retired now.But i can tell you are a perfectionist and it shows in your work, great video..and good luck 💯!!!
@@fingersmalone6503 thank you sir! 🫡 im gonna be taking it commercial soon as i get the chance
🌟 "Promo sm"
Atta boy damn your good
Heyyy, thank you sir🫡
whoever pulled it up did a hell of job
This time it was my Jamaican brother Leroy, Me and him switch on and off and we were the main curb guys.
Been pouring curb behind a machine for over a decade. We've always freehanded the head. Don't see too many people who do it that way and make it look good. Respect.
@@ibfrosty08 thank you sir!
Yea I’m about to this DIY style to my backyard
will be sick!
Mf is flying finishing that curb🤌🏻🤌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I always do :p thank you
I saw that from the 4th floor
Be back tmrow to finish!🫡
The curb looks amazing and then you got mr old school in the back wanting to run the edger with the damn poles instead of by hand 🤦♂️ Curbs should always be edged by hand in my opinion theres no reason to do it with the pole it just makes it difficult
If the curb guy does it right its very easy to run the pole edger, no need to have him bend over all day if he doesnt need too. If u gotta hand edge you either lack skill or the ccurb is not lookn out for you
@@globalconcrete ive never really tried the pole edger on curb personally i just like the hand edge never thought to do it any other way but my experience with these old school guys is theyll be very adamant on running the pole edger just to push the curb head down a quarter inch or so and have it looking wavey from a distance, If they have the skill then right on but in my case its always some stubborn journeyman thats used to a different standard
@@forapply4583 i leave it a little up on purpose so he can put the weight on it to push it down and match the form. If the curb guy pulls the curb exact with the form the yea its a pain to edge on the poll
@@globalconcrete thats some good work, that setup looks really good too if you have a video showing how you lift it before you slick it thatd be great, looks like a curb machine poured it how flush it looks
@@forapply4583 i got some video somewhere i believe, Alot of my other videos I just up it with this slicker most of the time and eyeball it.
yall got the good tools in that crew. bring that shit ova here😂
😆😆 They grabbed us some the good ish finally🤙🏽🤙🏽
Bradah wt that Darby get action 👊🏾💪🏾
YESSIR!!!
I’ll never forget the first time I saw curb getting pulled as an engineering intern at the city I grew up in. I had no idea it was done by hand, and I was amazed that it could be done so quickly and uniformly without a machine. Nice video.
yessir! Appreciate it. Thank you! Its tough for sure regardless your experience level and I def would love to do it another way but this is the quickest way forsure.
Where do you get that long float
By me they are sold local, otherwise u gotta go on marshalltown website
That man has a job with us ! Dang son!
thank you sir
👍👍

Keep them videos up boys... great damn work! Idk wtf it is but I struggle so damn much with curb. Always sagging. Find myself watching yalls videos on repeat trying to see what the trick is.
I understand my man! Appreciate it thats why i make them. I was doin the same years ago when i 1st started. Usually comes at a 4 inch slump curb mix and should stay up pretty well. Its all about the timing really and when you come up take the pressure off. Or you can grab cream from the pan and bring it up over the curb to close it up so you dont have to mess with the shape
@globalconcrete sounds good bro. I'm gonna give it a shot Monday. 90% of the time we're running sidewalk or driveway too, and it's always got big @ss rock in it. I'll see if we can get a curb mix instead. I've watched guys finish with curb mix and it makes it look so much easier. I'm sure with experience, either mix is fine.... but shit I'll take any handicap I can get. Thanks again man. Til the next one! 💪
@@dustyparks2732 forsure! I know most of the time they order flat work then do the curb and its tough, you just gotta let it sit for a while
I am down to watching anything on RUclips now
Lol feel ya
How does it look after a week?
This is how we broom finish freeways and main roads. It looks just like how it is here
Tine finish, looks good
Thank you sir
You better have a strong back because sometimes you got like 5 concrete trucks lined up,my bros executive workmanship. ❤
Ive been there plenty of times! We never get like that anymore! 🙏🏽
This is dumb
Genius idea!
Its honestly changed the way we do it for good, mixes so easy if u have just the right amount of water or have someone sprinkle it in. Effortless
Noice. 😮
Changed the way we mix mortar forever!
So easy
Your doing it good mAte
thank you sir
better off renting a curbing machine
We own 10 curb machines, those are only used if im not on the job
Then you break your ankle and lose the load
Just gotta know how to do it, But i never lose a load;p
💚
❤️
Is that b curb?
Yessir 6” high back F
Location?
Ann arbor Michigan
What kind of a mix do you use for it to be so creamy?
idk the exact ratios but we'll get high early in it and sometimes we'll do a 7 bag mix but you gotta be fast or itll get hard on you. The high early def makes it creamy
Reminds me of playing in the mud . Good work
it was a chill day its usually chaos, Def like to play sometimes, thank you sir.
I might but my back can’t 😂
im tryin to change the stereo type lol, Eat a healthy diet, be as skilled as possible and stretch everyday! Curb machine in the heat is when youll be hurting but its a great skill to have if you want to make money.
@@globalconcrete I’m a Union commercial concrete carpenter. Been around the block a few times and my back is my kryptonite. Stretching I need to do more often though.
def a lost skill
Hand curb is tough, not many out here know how to do it this way anymore
Want to learn how to do hand curb? Let me help you.
30 years concreting never seen it done like this, very nice.
Thank you sir, everybodys got their way ive poured all over the country and out. This is Michigan style
Crazy skills but why do you guys do it like that down South? I'm a 30-year Mason up here in Philly Why not just form n pour? Again great skills
Thanks, thats just how they do it here in MI, I did the form and pour in cali as well also in Canada they do that and alot of other states too. Since our curb is rolled its just alot faster and cheaper if you have a good curb guy cuz of the cost of wood. The form and strip process takes alot longer as well but its def easier on the body. Again thats just how they do it I wouldnt mind not breaking my back lol
*Promo sm* 😊
Hundreds of ft. Of curb yourself .. 😂😂 yeah right!
Thats literally what i do everyday on the finish. I did 500 today
These guys are doing their community a great service 🫡
Yessir we do our best and bust our cheeks
Looks like we had fun yesterday, Looks can be deceiving...
Wow ❤
thanks 💙
Real men doing real work. I like it
Thank you sir, all day everyday.
About 4 different afroman songs came instantly to mind a
