I attend West Coast University and was 8 months away from graduate and life happen. I didn't fail a class but missed clinical and got dismissed from the program. At the time, I wasn't in the best mental health to fight them to get back in. West really gave me ptsd. I took some time off now. I just started Galen. We got this 🎉

Hi, I’ve watched your journey and I’m glad you didn’t give up. I was a LPN for 15 years when I went back to nursing school right when COVID it. I completed the program only to fail at the end. I was devastated and started seeing a therapist. The therapist is actually the one that encouraged me to start over at another school (Galen College of Nursing). It didn’t hesitate, I was approved and enrolled very quickly. I’m in Georgia and the school was in Asheville, NC. After about 4 months, I got tired of driving so moved to complete school. I found a job and a room rental and did it in 15 months. I didn’t care what people thought or said, I just did it! I finished June 21, 2024, passed NCLEX July 11, 2024 w/85 questions, and started working as a RN October 7, 2024. Everybody’s journey is different! It was hard for me as well and I was a LPN! Just keep pushing and YOU WILL complete your journey! Trust and rely on GOD for everything and you’ll be ok. I too had to work HARD while in school. I didn’t have help, I had to do it! You can do the same! I found a good job working weekends only as a Baylor nurse and was making $55/hr. It paid for school (because Galen is expensive), my mortgage in Georgia, and my rent in Asheville without struggling. I thank God for the journey and the learning experience. Thank you, this is the way patients should be treated,we,my wife is disabled, just switched companies here in Mass,because all the girls would do is complain about everything from there family, job,get on section 8 housing,they were sad lonely depressed,the office staff would lie,to cover for the girls,left a voicemail on my grandaughters phone stateing if u have a mental illness should stay home, we switched to an awesome agency down by boston, they travel 60 miles one way each day, 8 hours a day, they appreciate everything,

30 patients that's not safe. You can't be taking care of everyone. They give us 17 or less in the hospital

Although this is a cute video there are several problems with it. You absolutely should not be wearing a reusable mask, scrubhat or anything else. It is considered contaminated every time an item is worn in a patient’s room and should be removed and thrown away before leaving said room. I just dont want bad habits being shared that could be harmful. Also in a hospital setting, fake nails are usually not allowed and they have to be 1/4 in length or shorter because bacteria gets trapped underneath. Hope this helps. Awesome preparation otherwise!

All that ripping and running made me tired. 😂 but us techs are very necessary
