🎉 maybe you can outline how different races can't spend their money in markets to buy food today. I mean unless of course the supermarket isn't there because of the food desert epidemic of burning down or destroying businesses that need a profit to stay in place. I guess that would be worth describing

Food desserts and food swamps really make it hard to eat healthy even for the people who want to. What do you think people should do to change this? Talk to city hall? Boycott the markets offering junk food? Any ideas?

I think we need to change our food culture because I’ve been doing some thinking and it might be why we end up with a lot of health problems. We gig on some people for not seasoning their food but I feel we might be using the wrong things or too much of what we use. We’re at risk more for high blood pressure and diabetes not only because of genetics but more because our diets. We should try to stay away from the processed food because a lot of us eat processed foods everyday throughout the year and is ignorant to the long term effects that eating like that can cause in us. I also don’t drink kool-aid anymore. That’s just sugar and water and if you go and eat a starch with that you can see how the balance will change because of how your body breaks things down. We’re making ourselves sick

Hi there, you bring up some very valid points especially about seasonings and processed foods. Food can be delicious and healthy at the same time. Stepping away from the "salts" like seasoning salt and garlic salt is a great start. Small things like opting for garlic powder instead can make a difference. For the people who live in areas where there is mostly or all fast food and the grocery stores with produce are far...what do you suggest they do?

Right, and so many social events are centered on alcohol. What do you think can be done to shift us away from alcohol being promoted so heavily?

The stigma around HIV/AIDS has been going on since the 1980's, people are judt ignorant that HIV is literally the catalyst for AIDS and that both diseases are communicable through: sex, sharing a needle ( drugs). Some people need to retake health classes.
