We Ilonggos believe Cebuanos are educated enough not to display the shameless-ness of claiming anything the Spanish Queen Regent bestowed on ILOILO which was not meant for Cebu.

And iloilo doesn't aspire to keep up with both cities in terms of skyscrapers, traffic jams, air pollution, congestion, environmental degradation, uncontrolled temporary dwellers/squatters, floods and over-construction.
