Just bought a 2024 smithco 4 axle can't even dumb 27ton my 3 axle jet dumps no problem with same truck very disappointed right now in it. 100 grand and getting stuck on job sites with it.

End dumps paved the way for hauling. Every thing has its use. It’s funny how people are so scared of end dumps cause they don’t know how to run them. The side dump is an amazing trailer no doubt, but to say end dumps are never the ticket is just not true.

Looks an expensive pair, relatively inefficient.... all things considered.

My friend runs a local company and they are switching over to side dumps and Mack trucks with automatics. See more side dumps on the roads now than belly dumps..

Ive never seen a side dump here on the east coast, mid Atlantic region

For what I do side dumps are useless they are too heavy just can't get the tonnage

I have worked with end dumps truck and pup the side dump is the most Efficient way to go its about Efficiency getting in and out fast , On the job sites, they are the ones in and out and back to the hoe the fastest . Also, loading them is Quicker. with a loader and excavatorthe best times are dumping on the fly is where it's at Can't beat there, Cycle times

You guys should make a video for each double trailer configuration.

Where would you pull something like this? You could never load them to capacity. I run a SmithCo triaxle and haul 96000. One more axle puts me at around 102,000 legal. The max is 105,500. Not sure two would be necessary unless you had an overweight permit. Off coarse some states maybe different than mine. By the way I love my SmithCo. Awesome trailer.
